CHAPTER 11

"Mate" we both say at the same time.

Everyone turns around and looks at us both intensely of cause Grace was the first to brake the tension between everyone.

"Omg!! Sebastian, Carter I can't believe this! Oh i 100% approve of her Sebi, she's going to be the perfect Luna for our pack!" Grace jumps on both of us giving us hugs.

"Don't call me that!" He whisper yelled at her like she was embarrassed about her pet name for him.

"Oh please brother you wait until mum and dad know you've found you mate! She's going to know all about little Sebi." Grace winks at me.

I suddenly get this awful feeling as he looks at me almost like he was guilty of something, like he couldn't accept me. With out waiting for an explanation I make a fun for it because my wolf felt it too, I almost made it out the gates when I run into both Evan and Kevin and fall flat on my arse.

"Carter are you okay? What happen you looked spooked?" Kevin says

"I'm fine I'm just leaving I don't feel to well."

"But the party has barely started?" Kevin argues

"I just had a massive day with Charlie and Maney I guess I'm just a little warn out." I lied.

"Your lying Carter, what happened? What's wrong?" Evan grabs my arm as if to show his alpha authority

Suddenly a massive growl is made from behind me which send shivers down my spine.

"Get your hands off my mate Evan!" Sebastian says trying to control his wolf.

Evans looks at Sebastian with anger then back to me for an answer. "What did he do Carter?"

"Nothing I just want to leave now please let me go Evan." He lets go of my arm then turns to Kevin "Make sure she gets home safe." Kevin nods, as we go to turn around to leave there was another loud growl which made the whole party stop and look at us.

"She is not going anywhere with him!" Sebastian had lost control of his wolf who had taken over.

"Carter is going home, my beta will make sure she gets there safely." Trying to calm the situation down.

"Sebi calm down, Stacey and I will go with them and stay with her okay?" Grace chims in.

He doesn't say anything but nods his approval and watches all four of us leave through the gates, his ears pick up the sound of his beautiful mate crying behind Kevin, which sends his wolf wild.

SEBASTIAN'S POV

I've lost control of my body after seeing my mate being touched by another alpha, but my wolf can tell my sister will make sure she's safe so he nods and let's them leave.

"What did you do to Carter!" Evans yells. Why on earth does he even care.

"That is none of your business Evan." My wolf has finally given me back control now since our mate is out of the way.

"Carter is my business, she is apart of my pack!" He responds back.

"She won't be for much longer Evan, she is my mate!" I yell agitated.

"Look Sebastian let's go and talk about this like proper Alphas, and let everyone get back to the ceremony." He is being sincere I can see it in his eyes. I nod so we head off to a more discreet place.

"Look I want the truth what happened with Carter? why is she so upset when, if you are her mate she should be happy."

"Well when my sister and Carter ran into us before even knowing she was my mate, we had a awkward moment like she was waiting for my approval while my sister was blabbering on about how good of a Luna she will make, I was kind of debating with my wolf if she was the right fit, considering I've heard a lot of rumors here tonight I just wasn't thinking straight... I hesitated she must have clicked on and ran." I am such an i***t! 'damn right you are!' my wolf growls in my head.

"Bloody hell! It's her birthday and you just went and messed up my mums work on her, by ignoring the mate bond! Do you accept her as your mate or not?" Evan cares but I can sense it is in a brotherly caring way, that's a relief.

"I know I've messed up! I'm sorry. How can I fix this my wolf needs her?" Evan raises an eye brow at me and I realise what I have just said.

"I mean I need her, we both need her." That was a save and a half.

"You should be apologising to Carter not me, Carter is a unique girl Sebastian, never underestimate her that is one life lesson I can give you. Your going to have to work on earning her trust after this." he responds with total honesty.

"I'll do anything Evan, Please you have to let your father allow me to stay in the pack until she accepts me." realising what I must do I can't believe I am begging!

Evan laughs "Are you seriously begging right now?"

"you would be doing the same if it was your mate." I say

"Yeah alright, but I'm only doing this for Carter, understood?"

I nod we head back to the ceremony and Evan ushers me over to where his mum and dad are, he explains what has happened and they both give me a look of death but contain them selves.

"You've really messed up boy. However I've seen first hand my Carter can do to people so I will accept you and your sister to stay until Carter has her decision." Alpha John says

"Thank you Alpha, what do you mean by what she can do?" curiously I ask

"You'll find out soon enough boy." he says with a smirk on his face and heads back to the ceremony...

Back to Carter.

We arrive back at my place, Kevin insisted on staying on the couch for the night to make sure im okay with my dad being away and all, so both the girls came and crashed in my room.

"Carter what's wrong? please talk to me." Grace says

"When you was saying how good of a Luna I would make, he hesitated, he was fighting with his wolf whether to accept me or not. I can't deal with not being accepted anymore Grace I can't!" I start to cry.

"Oh Carter, I am so sorry! I will make my brother pay for this just you wait and see!" Grace says while giving me a hug.

"Hey, lets forget about boys tonight and finish off your birthday like a slumber party?" Stacey suggest.

"Really? I've never had one before? how do they work?" I ask while completely taken Sebastian off my mind.

"You've never had a slumber party? not even with Charlie or Maney?" they both ask.

"Well Maney's a boy so he isn't aloud to stay over... but no they haven't ever stayed the night as they aren't wolves so its too hard to explain things that happen around here so we'd just hang out at their places etc." I awkwardly respond.

"Well tonight is your lucky day! we just have one question?"

I nod waiting for one of them to ask me. "Do we involve Kevin? I'd hate for him to miss out on the fun while baby sitting us?" Stacey says with a slight blush.

"Stacey do you have a crush on the Beta Kevin?" Grace teases

"Ah, no... I just thought it would be nice to include him." she defends herself.

"Sure!" we both say sarcastically. We head back down stairs to ask Kevin if he wants to be apart of our slumber party, he hesitates but then goes "What the heck! Why not?" so for the rest of the night he joins in on all the girly things we did like; face masks, truth or dare, pillow fights we even took some funny photos to remember this. To be honest I think he quite enjoyed him self, it was about 4 am when we all got tired and ended up bunking out in the loungeroom...
