I was done taking my bath and dressing up, which took up to an hour or so, I descended downstairs and went to the lady's house and knocked on the door, ringing the doorbell. I felt this strange feeling in my stomach, telling me to go away but at the same time telling me to stay here, don't get it.
The moment she opened the door, she went horrified and began screaming.
I felt the spark, the hotness which was building within me.
Mate, she is your mate!"
My eyes widened at the words of my wolf, staring at her, she screamed to the extent of falling on her butt, panickingly. I tried to get close to her, she shifted back screaming for help.
"NOOO, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME, PLEASE." Her yellow and blue glowed in front of me as she screamed.
Why did her eyes have different colours, I thought.
She is an Omega, I realized the moment I perceived her scent, flowing through my nostrils brought me down on my knees.
Was she a cursed Omega?
"Get out of here, I don't want to see you,' she cried out.
What's going on here, my eyes blurred, staggering at the same time.
"NOOO.' I screamed at the top of my voice, he startled me when he began getting closer to me. "NOOO, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME, PLEASE," I yelled. "Get out of here, I don't want to see you,' I cried out.
What's going on here, my eyes blurred, and my body weakened at his presence, he staggered, his gaze falling on me, he shut his eyes for a second and inhaled my scent. I perceived his pheromones as well, he got closer to me, stepping into my house, falling on his knees.
"You…you…" He panted. "You are an Omega, right."
I got up from the floor, my wolf kept chanting the word "Mate" but I ignored her, struggled and boldly uttered. "That's none of your business, get out of my house right this minute."
He got up from the floor smiling, and walked towards me with force, slamming my back to the wall, both arms at each side of my face.
That was fast, his powers must be part of the Bloodline, my wolf said.
With a stunning look, up close he was breathtakingly gorgeous and his eyes were the most amazing thing I have ever seen. How could an Alpha be this handsome?
My eyes welled up, not again. I don't want a mate that will ruin my life again. After ten good years of having the peace that I had always yearned for, why will another mate show up in my life?
"You are beautiful,' he muttered, smiles appeared on his face, raised his hand and touched, and fondled my cheeks. "So beautiful." He whispered lovely, his hand went to my face, stroked my hair and my neck, feeling the sparks twinkling at his physical contact on my skin, the more he touched me the more the sparkling increased. I was stuck, I couldn't move my body, and hot tears dripped down my face once more. I enjoyed his touch once more and melted into it.
My world is crumbling once again, what have I done to deserve this, not again.
He wiped off my tears, kissed my forehead, rested his nose on mine, panting heavily like he wanted to kiss me but he was holding himself back, his lips almost touched mine when I remembered those words from Morgana, how she always taunts me.
The memories of what happened ten years ago flooded back, my heart burned, I sobbed so hard. Why? Why can't I just disregard the past, I got a new life now, building stories and recalls with my kids who gave me joy better than anyone, they were my everything to me, my treasures and I will do anything to protect them, including my life and I don't care if its the last thing I do on this earth, my children will always be my priority and I will make sure of that.
"What's…what's…umm…,' he swallowed, stuttering, shutting his eyes and opening them again. I flinched at his reaction and pushed him away from him.
No! No! No, I wasn't going to let this happen to me again, I'm not the same eighteen years old Athena I once was, I'm now a different person. Ten years of living my life has taught me a lesson that I will never want to forget for eternity. The memory of my mate and his Luna wanting to use me for their gain years ago, was still haunting me and I can never forget what they did to me, how they both planned to poison my baby by feeding me potion, unknowingly to them, that I had a child inside me, if it weren't for the fact that I knew what they were up to, my baby would have been killed, I would have been thrown back to the prison and be forgotten.
"Stay the hell away from me, who sent you,' I strictly cautioned. "If I ever see you in my life again, I would call the cops on you and put a restraining order on you."
He smiled, his lips were quite tasty. "Pull yourself together," I said within.
"Why are you…"
"I don't want to hear anything from you, please get out of here." I pointed at the door.
"Will you hear me out?" He sighed.
"I f*****g don't want to hear you out, you guys are all the same. All of you are the same to me. So, kindly get out of my house this minute." I yelled. "OUT."
"Listen…"
"I reject…" I halted. What the hell, I don't even know his full name, damn. How can I reject him now, without his bloody full name?
He chuckled. "You can't reject me, mate, if you don't know my full name,' he somewhat chuckled, his voice was calm and intense.
