“What do you mean by that? They tried to kidnap you twice already. Who else would they be targeting?” Albert asked, as he saw the look in his wife’s eyes he knew she was on to something.
“I don’t know… but it might not be me and that scares me…” Amanda admitted in a quiet voice then turned to her husband once more. “Maybe it’s just a bit safer here than it is in S city… even though I’d prefer the kids to be around us.”
“Have you heard any news from him?” Albert asked in his usual indifferent voice.
“Not a word. Makes me think something’s coming.” Amanda replied, her words becoming more serious with each sentence she formed.
“Then we don’t have much of a choice but to place more guards here. Just to be safe.” Albert said and stood up from the sofa.
“I was going to get extra guards regardless of what they wanted.” Amanda confessed as she pointed to her phone. “I had already called them after all~”
“I’m sure you could have convinced them if you really wanted to.” Albert said in a calm voice as he smirked lightly.
“No way, what mother would I be if I manipulate my children into doing what I want them to!” Amanda said in an overly dramatic voice.
“A normal mother.” Albert answered the question with a serious tone.
“Gosh… even after all these years you’re still not one to joke around.” Amanda couldn’t help but laugh at her husband’s indifferent voice…

“Calm down… It’s alright now…” Ken said in a reassuring voice, this was all part of his plan from the very beginning…
Sleeping together platonically, confessing, pretending to be jealous and finally getting a confession from Lynn.
This wall all pre-planned in the student’s head, all the events leading up to this moment….
Now Lynn was crying on the other’s shoulder while spilling out his hidden emotions out in the open. It was truly a shameful sight but by the end of it Lynn felt at least slightly better having confessed.
“Young Master… you don’t hate me… for loving you?” Lynn asked in a saddened tone as he carefully raised his head to look at the other.
“Of course not… How could I when I feel the same?” Ken said in a calm voice then he continued embracing the other. ‘This is what I wanted… A confession from Lynn… The moment I’ve waited for so long…’
This was the long awaited time, yet he didn’t feel any different. Even though Ken needed to play trickery on the other to get him to confess and it wasn’t the easiest of tasks, it was a great feeling… Finally having both of their emotions laid bare like this.
“Master…” Lynn spoke to break the silence, his sobs had now ceased and he spoke in his professional tone once more. “I’m sorry you had to see this shameful side of myself.”
‘How can you act so tough, even though your eyes are still red?’ Ken wondered to himself as he tried to touch the other’s face but his hand was stopped mid air. “Huh?”
“Please don’t touch me like that Young Master.” Lynn said as he moved the other’s hand away from his face.
“Didn’t you just confess? Aren’t we together already?” Ken asked in clear confusion. This wasn’t the expected outcome, it wasn’t in the plan.
“Now that you know my feelings I’m afraid I can no longer serve you properly. Forgive me.” Lynn said as he brushed away the last of his tears.
“What are you talking about?” Ken questioned in a more serious voice, the situation wasn’t going the way it was supposed to.
“I have failed you, as your bodyguard… I’m unable to even withhold my own emotions in front of you. I believe it will distract me from my work and lead to disaster.” Lynn explained, now there was barely a trace left of evidence that he had shed tears, besides his reddened eyes. From his demeanor no one would even imagine he had cried.
“You haven’t failed me at all! We confessed to each other, so there is nothing more to worry about. Why are you making things needlessly complicated?!” Ken was now angered, he knew well where things were going.
“Forgive me…” Lynn said as he bowed his head and moved towards the door.
‘I’ll be damned if I let him go after all this time!’ Ken vowed to himself and pulled the other student by the hand. “Don’t go… I told you it’s fine, yet you insist on this?”
