Not Now
“Jay where are we going?” I asked.
Jay had walked into the bedroom, chose a dress for me, and declared we were going on a date.
He gave me 15 minutes to get ready and be in the car.
I shook my head but he made it clear, I didn’t have a choice.
So, I did what I was instructed.
And that was how I ended up in the car and driving out of the city.
“It’s s surprise Amara.”
“Come on, please!” I pleaded.
“Amara, you are so impatient! Just wait and you’ll see.” He said, focusing on the road.
