Something New
“Amara, wake up love.”
I was dreaming and it was a beautiful dream. I didn’t want to wake up so I swatted the hand away.
“Amara”, the voice laughed.
“Go away.” I mumbled.
“Amara, wake up, your surprise is waiting for you.”
That sentence pulled me out of the dream world and I opened my eyes to see Jay leaning over and smirking.
“That woke you up.” He said, grinning.
“Jay” I said, looking around, taking in my surroundings.
I was still sitting in the car and I guess I had fallen asleep.
