“Naveen, it’s not a date.” I stressed out for the third time.
“Really?” He asked.
I had plans with Aashir to go eat in a fancy restaurant but it wasn’t a date. I just hadn’t been out in a long time and I needed adult conversations that weren’t with Naveen or Tisha.
“I told you the answer, Naveen.”
Naveen nodded and then looked at the twins. “I’ll watch the twins with Tisha while you're out.”
“You don’t have to. Tisha said she could do it and Nina would be there as well.” I told him.
“No, I don’t mind,” he answered.
I nodded. “ Okay then.”
