Chances (Part 2)
I was on cloud nine.
Jay had surprised me on Valentine’s day and it was amazing. It couldn’t have been more romantic, even if it was in a movie.
Everything was amazing.
I couldn’t stop smiling.
“What are you thinking about right now?” Jay asked me, sitting down next to me on the couch.
I was supposed to be working on a concept for my cousin’s newest restaurant but my mind was preoccupied.
I just smiled at him and turned my head back to my laptop.
“I could guess?’ He asked, leaning over and placing his chin on my shoulder.
I could feel the blush creeping up my skin and I had never been more glad that it wasn’t as visible, but the shiver and goosebumps gave me away.
“I bet it was about last night,” he whispered. “I wouldn’t mind another round.”
