Family Date (Part 1)
Well, my weekend was ruined.
Jay and Zara were attached at the hip for the rest of the weekend. It was as if I didn’t exist. Jay would come into the room late at night and leave before I woke up. I didn’t understand why this was happening, but I knew that I couldn’t keep dealing with this.
Even on the drive back, Jay had been so quiet. He barely spoke to me or looked at me. And I knew why. I had heard the conversation that broke me. I had walked into the kitchen to get some water but Jay and Zara were standing there.

“Zara, why are you doing this to me? Why did you come here?” I heard Jay ask her.
“For you Jay.”
“What does that mean?” He asked.
“Come on Jay, you know I love you.” Zara answered.
“Your marrying my cousin. You love him.” Jay
