Chapter 8. The Moment Of Being Stonger

1070 Words
"Have you made a decision?" Emilia asked Eva who looked better. A few days ago, she was sad because of her unwanted pregnancy, but now the black cloud has shifted a little bit. Eva smiled, then nodded. “Yes, I think I will go through with this pregnancy. This baby is innocent." Although I don't know his father, that doesn't mean I can abort him," said Eva, making a wise decision that she had thought through carefully. Emilia was silent without smiling, looking at Eva, who seemed to be forcing herself to smile. She was thinking differently about Eva's decision before. Emilia thought that Eva should not want the baby and was ready to take an abortion as an option. “Eve, please don't force yourself. You have experienced crime and abuse. Then, do you want to raise that child alone? What if he asks about his father someday?" Emilia asked back after being silent for a while. Eva was also stunned to hear a question like that. She knew that her decision was based on her lack of heart and her fear of aborting the pregnancy. Eva was alone, and she was confused about what to do now. Everything has been ruined and turned upside down in her life. “This isn't an easy case where you are abandoned by someone like a boyfriend. That man raped you and made you pregnant. Don't you think about what kind of trauma you will get in the future?" Emilia added again, still worried about Eva's condition. Eva smiled bitterly and leaned her back slightly against the edge of the small dining table in their cramped apartment. She nodded slightly after a moment. "I know. Even now, I often have nightmares, but I can't give up on the situation, right? I want to be able to move on and live my dreams. I still want to pursue my studies and graduate from college," Eva answered, making Emilia even more amazed. Emilia smiled proudly, then, with tears in her eyes, hugged Eva. "I'm very proud of you. Oh God, your heart is like an angel." Emilia praised Eva's softness and beautiful heart. Eva just smiled in Emilia's arms. She didn't answer anything. Eva doesn't know what her life will be like in the future. Moreover, now she will have a baby and become a mother at a young age. Emilia sobbed a little, then released her hug from Eva. She stroked Eva's hair, which was slightly longer than hers. “I will keep my promise to you. We will take care of this baby together; how about it? I can be a good aunt," said Emilia jokingly. Eva chuckled a little, then nodded and hugged Emilia again. “Okay, if you have decided, then you have to be ready for everything. First, we will have an appointment with the doctor, and second, we need to find you another job other than being in a bar. It’s not a good place for a pregnant lady.” Emilia gave a brief instruction to Eva. Eva slightly nodded. “Okay. I’ll follow every step that is good for my baby and me. I can handle this, right?” Emilia nodded confidently. At the same time, Gabriel stood proudly in the middle of the room specifically designated for real fighting. His foot stepped on the head of little Morgan, who had fallen helplessly. Gabriel had also killed his older brother before. Gabriel gasped slightly and laughed triumphantly. The other wolves were now afraid to see him. Gabriel's strength is not a joke at all. He can kill anyone who opposes him with the strong power he has. "Does anyone still dare to me?" challenged Gabriel arrogantly. All the wolves watching from behind the glass wall could only show their expressions of pure fear. Moreover, the Morgan family, who previously wanted to oppose Gabriel as an Alpha, can now only sob in fear. No one dared to speak, especially the elders, who had originally been so aggressive about bringing Gabriel down. After being silenced for a few minutes, Gabriel walked towards the glass wall where the elders and the Morgan family were standing. He didn't smile at all. He looked fierce and cruel. “Now you know the consequences of opposing and doubting the truth of what I say. You will die, and I will burn your bodies without mercy." Gabriel threatened while gritting his teeth. He did not play a joke at all. His legacy was about ruthlessness. Gabriel's big, hard muscles stick out, showing a tribal tattoo along his left arm and a little on his right shoulder. Even now, no one dares to challenge him anymore. Gabriel came out of the room still shirtless and wearing black trousers. One of his Zetas came to put on Gabriel's shirt, which had been taken off during the fight earlier. Some guests who were also wolves only dared to look at Gabriel from a few meters away. Gabriel didn't care and was still buttoning the cuffs of his shirt when an elder named Brandt Oliver approached him. “Gabriel, what you did was too much. The Morgans are still very young. Why do you have to kill them?" Brandt said. Gabriel grinned sarcastically and chuckled mockingly. From his back-to-back position, he turned to face Brandt, who slowly tightened his jaw. “I am an Alpha. It was my instinct to finish off my challenger. If one of my wolves tries to betray me, I don't think I will hesitate to finish him off," Gabriel answered without any mercy at all. Brandt just glared at Gabriel, who had absolutely no regrets after eliminating the two sons of the Morgan family in an open fight with his bare hands. “Tell Morgan that they're being kicked out of Black Canis forever. Shoves those bodies away; I won't make any funerals!” Gabriel confirmed. He turned to leave even though he wasn't fully dressed in his suit. After only a few steps, Brandt, who was furious at Gabriel's cruel behavior, slightly raised his voice when he spoke. “Wait, as an Alpha, you still have to show us your Luna. Otherwise, there will be other wolves who would be more than happy to get rid of you.” Gabriel stopped walking and clenched his fists hard. Without wanting to answer so that his rage wouldn't explode again, Gabriel just walked away.
