The next three days passed by in a blur of tiredness and so much information I ended up falling exhausted onto the bed every night without even caring as Bree unchanged me. It was exhilarating, the lessons. Ronald was kind, and as much as I was bored by the lessons of how to read when I already knew how, I had to admit there were some words I didn’t know. Plus he had an excellent pick of favorite books, most of which I hadn’t read yet, so sitting there with him as he read to me and pointed out words was not as bad as I thought it would be. His voice was soothing and sometimes he’d pat me on the head as he read, making me feel warm and loved, being able to just spend time with my grandfather.
