Aaron Turner was planning to fly to Canada with his dad Tim. At 18 he was ready to have an adventure and get away from his mother Karen.
Aaron was into parkour. He loved to climb and jump and test his body. 17 year old Simon tagged along wanting to see Jamie again.
Tim had learned from Max that Jeff and his father, Grant were running a bit coin scam and he really wanted to foil there schemes, having lost most of his investments to Bit coin.
Tim was trying to make amends with Max and Jamie since they had gotten married.
Jamie really wanted to see Max's brothers, but not so much Tim Turner.
Emmy arrived at the airport, holding a sign for the Turner family. Dave was waiting in the car on standby.
Emmy noticed three men coming her way. The older man was walking briskly to catch up to the long strides of the younger men. Emmy smiled and held up her sign. Aaron approached her and nodded.
" Here we are!"
She grinned and bowed, "Welcome Turners, let me call Dave our driver and we can get going. Follow me."
Aaron hit his brother Simon's shoulder as brothers do when they walked behind a very pretty girl, Emmy Rose was cute. Tim shook his head.
Emmy was so busy preparing everything for the Turners that she barely noticed how they looked. She did see that Simon was shorter than Aaron. They looked very similar though, and nothing like Max.
Of course she was half in love with Max. She still knew that Jamie was his soul mate.
Emmy hoped that Max would see the picture that they had made to tell him about the baby soon. She smiled excitedly.
Simon thought she was grinning at him. He stood a little taller. Aaron was sure she glanced his way.
They rode in the back of the SUV as Dave drove and Emmy rode shot gun.
"Dad, what do you think Jamie really looks like now, I mean I've seen some pictures but is she still how we remembered her?" asked Simon.
Tim shrugged. He was just worried how she would react to seeing him after their past interactions. He fidgeted with his tie.
" I think she is real old now, Max is eight years younger than her," remarked Aaron.
Simon added,"Let's be nice to her, even if she's like all wrinkled and stuff."
Emmy held her hand over her mouth, trying not to laugh and side glanced at Dave, he was grinning too.
They reached the estate and the driveway gate swung wide open.
There was another car behind them now. When they stopped, the other car waited at the gate to be let in. The gate swung open.
Dave jumped out and opened the door for the Turners. Max approached them and ran to hug his brothers and shook Tims hand. The other car parked and Karen Turner got out adjusting her skirt. " Mom! glad you could make it,"yelled Max. The other boys weren't too glad to see her though.
Jamie was very nervous. She stayed behind inside to let everyone get acclimated, she was sitting in the kitchen. Emmy ran into the house. "Hey, everyone just arrived. Need me to start cocktails?"
She saw that Jamie was frowning and biting her nail.
" Hey, what is it boss? Is there something wrong, is it the baby?" Jamie smiled. "Max's family and I haven't seen eachother in a while. I'm not sure how they will react to me. I'm scared Emmy."
Emmy took her hand." Want to jump into the ocean?"
She nodded yes.
" Okay, come on let's go upstairs." Emmy took her up the wide staircase and fixed Jamie's hair, curling it into fat curls. She made her wear a white Jane Knight cocktail dress with tan pumps.
She quickly oiled down her tan legs and made her look very classy and sophisticated.
Jamie smiled. "There she is, Jane Knight comes to save the day. Thank you Emmy, I owe you everything."
Emmy looked down and grinned. Jane pulled her head up and kissed her on the lips, she moved a loose strand of brown hair from her eye, as she looked into Emmy's big brown eyes. .
" You my love, are real a gem."
Jane was very seductive. Emmy blushed. She was always surprised by the transformation from the often timid Jamie- to the very confident and impressive Jane Knight.
Emmy followed Jane down the stairs, she saw the reaction of Max's family to seeing her again.
Simon teared up. Aaron caught his breath. They both ran up to her and hugged her, tearful now.
"Jamie, we missed you so much!" She held them in her arms and rubbed their heads. Max grinned. He joined the hug.
Karen was crying. Tim looked concerned.
Jamie walked over to Karen and hugged her. "Nice to see you again, Karen." Tim looked around nervously. "Jamie stood in front of him. She hugged him and whispered to him. "Thanks for bailing Max out of jail. Thanks for being there when I couldn't."
He swallowed hard. He smelled her perfume and melted. She was very regal, very charming. She forgave him for all he had done to her.
Jane Knight directed them all to sit down. She nodded at Emmy signaling her to pour the cocktails and mocktails. Max handed her a glass of champagne. Emmy frowned and switched it out with a glass of sparkling water. Max didn't overlook this. His brows dropped. He took off his glasses. Jamie was smiling at something Aaron had said.
Max took her hand and squeezed it. He was worried now. Emmy smiled.
" Max, we should show your family the pictures we took the other day." He agreed, thinking it was a little weird timing though.
Aaron saw it first, then Karen. Simon was shocked and looked at Jamie's stomach. "No way, she's so skinny."
Jamie blushed. Max looked at the pictures then, he saw the last one.
He moved in front of her and picked her up. He kissed her and wiped away her tears of joy. Emmy grinned,"We gave you enough time to look at the pictures!"
Max pulled Jamie onto his lap and put his hands over her belly, "Really Jamie, is it true?"
She nodded. "We are having a little Turner."
They were all exited. Karen wasn't sure she was old enough to be a grandma. She said that Tim was though. Tim kissed Jamie on the cheek. "Congratulations my dear."
Emmy moved outside to the deck to give the family some privacy to celebrate. She looked sadly out into the ocean, she wished her parents had been as excited when at 16 she had told them about her teen pregnancy. They were angry. She was forced to give her baby up for adoption. She had wondered about her baby. She didn't even know if it was a boy or a girl. She wrapped her arms subconsciously around her waist.
She felt the pull of the ocean. When she thought of the baby, she thought of jumping into the ocean. Let the waves overtake her.
Aaron watched her. He saw her all alone on the deck. She looked concerned. He wandered out there with his hands in his pockets. "Hey we are getting ready for dinner. Want to come inside?"
Emmy put a huge smile on her face. He frowned. "Tell me, does that usually work on most people?" She looked away.
" Yes, Usually."
He asked her,"Did you ever think of just running away, like if anyone would even care?"
She said,"Exactly, and you?"
He nodded. "I used to feel like that every day, my mom worked a lot, we were pretty much alone until Jamie that is. She changed everything for me. She actually cares."
Emmy nodded.
"You know, you can talk to her about anything," he offered. She put her air up into her hands and breathed,"Thanks Aaron for seeing me." He took her arm and took her inside.
Jamie saw him and kissed his cheek. "I missed you Aaron." He kissed her back, "Me too miss Jamie. "You're old enough to call me Jamie, or Mrs. Turner." He smiled," Okay Jamie."
Karen pulled Max aside. "How are you doing son? It's been a while, you've been through a lot."
Max smiled," Better now that my wife is having my baby and not Jeff Allen's." He seethed.
"He is such a liar, he told everyone that she was pregnant when we had gotten her back from his clutches, we tested her and it was negative."
Karen took everything in and pondered how he will feel about Jeff Allen once he finds out the whole truth. She was shocked to find out that Grant's son Jeff was engaged to Jamie Clarke of all people.
