Max, Dave, and Jamie stood up from their seats to get their bags when the plane finally taxied to the runway. The flight crew pulled out their bags for them. Dave had slept almost the whole way home. When Jamie turned to go, everyone on the plane began to cheer for her. Several women cried seeing that she was home in Canada. They started singing the Canadian national anthem. Jamie waved and blushed. She spoke once they had finished. A man yelled,"quiet everyone, she's speaking." Jamie took off her hat and glasses. "Thank you all. I just wanted to say that I missed Canada very much and am glad to be back. Max here," she hugged him to her side,"and I are still planning our wedding. We will share more with you about my incredible return once we get settled. I love you all!" They cheered and yelled that they loved her too. Detective Aragon had stayed behind to try and extradite Jeff Allen back to Canada. She was waiting for the Greek authorities to finish with him. She was happy to stay as long as she could. She needed this vacation badly. Jamie and Max waited at the arrivals bay for Dave. He rented a car and would pick up their bags once they were settled. Jamie felt very tired and anxious. She looked around for Jeff Allen. She was fearful that he would stun gun her again. Max saw her eyes darting around. He turned her to face him, " Look at me." She looked into his soft brown eyes. She grabbed his face with her hands. "Max, what if he finds us. How can we stay safe?" Max frowned. "Jamie, I plan to take measures to keep you safe." He pulled out a small zip drive. He showed it to her. This is something that I pulled off of Jeff's computer. A little insurance." She asked him what was on it. He saw Dave coming up now in the car. "I will explain it all later." Greece.... Jeff was escorted off of the Lazy Jane. He was taken to the Greek National police station. He refused to talk. Media cameras were snapping pictures of him as he arrived. He held his head high and smiled. "Mr.Allen where is Jane Knight, why did you take her?" Jeff put his hand up. "Jane is safe, we will release a statement to the press when we are able to." "Jeff, Jeff!" They persisted. "Are you still planning to marry Jane even though she is with Max Turner right now?" Jeff frowned. "No comment!" He seethed. Damn Max, he should have known. Jeff was taken into an interview room. He would wait for his lawyer to arrive tomorrow before he spoke. Detective Kelly Aragon sauntered into the room. She was unofficially there. "Hey big guy, looks like daddy is not coming, nor your lawyer. Change of plans, we are heading back to Canada. I'm your escort." She sat down and chewed her gum. He dusted off his shirt. He looked away. He was quiet. She prodded him. "So, do you know the prison sentence for kidnapping?" He was silent. "Hmm. how about rape? Seems like that's the only way a girl is willing to sleep with a guy like you, drugged and raped." He winced. She knew he was ready to crack. "Another thing to consider sir, torture." He looked at her, assessing her smart mouth, he wanted to choked her and make her swallow that gum. She was quiet, chomping loudly. He yelled," Guards!" She smiled. "No problem, don't want to talky talk. We got time. Hours really." He cussed at her and told her off. "Where is she, can I see her?" He was actually worried about her. She said, "She is a mess, she is physically unfit to travel." She lied. He smiled. "So she's still in Greece?" Kelly knew he was close to talking."I might let you talk to her, but I need a little more from you." She leaned in. "What was your plan with all this?" Jeff looked worried. "She's pregnant. I haven't told her yet. The doctor did a blood test. He was concerned so we stopped the anxiety medicine. He ordered that for her too. She tried to kill herself. She's been unstable since Sasha died. Everything has been consensual." "Hmm. I have evidence to the contrary." She snapped her gum. She heard the guard coming and she stood up. "Gotta run. Nice talking to you!" He called out." You said I could speak with her!" He stood up and pounded his fist. She slid out then, the door locked behind her. He charged the door. Kelly handed the guard her card. "Let me know when I can pick him up." Jeff's Lawyer entered then. He brushed past her on his way to see his client. Kelly wondered about his pregnancy claims. She would need to talk to Max. Victoria, BC Dave parked in front of the hotel. Max didn't want to go home yet. The media frenzy had already started. They were surrounding her home. He pulled Jamie into his arms and carried her through the back door. The staff had assisted him to enter through the alley way. Jamie felt sick and ran to the bathroom to throw up. She was feeling off since she stopped the drugs. Max called Jamie's doctor. She had treated her previously as Jane Knight. "Well, Jane could be experiencing drug withdrawal. I need to see her and do some lab work. Could she possibly be pregnant?" said Dr.Gibbs. Max didn't know. He sent Dave out for some medication that Dr. Gibbs ordered, including a pregnancy test kit. Jamie fell asleep then, collapsing on the comfortable bed. Detective Kelly Aragon called Max and played her recorded interview with Jeff for him. When he heard the part about the pregnancy he worried for her. "Dr.Gibbs sent over a pregnancy test for her. We will take it in the morning. She has been sick, throwing up." Detective Aragon said she would call him tomorrow. Now all signs pointed to Jamie being pregnant with Jeff's baby. Max was feeling sick himself. He hoped it was negative. He didn't want Jeff to be Jamie's baby daddy. He wanted to be her everything. He knew it was likely and he was mentally preparing to support her through a pregnancy. If she was pregnant, it was half Jamie. He would love it either way. Jamie dreamed. She saw her mother. She knew she was there. She smiled, holding a baby. It was a little boy. Janet Clarke brought the baby to Jamie, grandma Sadie was there too. Just as Jamie reached up to take her new born son into her arms, he disappeared. The blanket was empty. She looked at her mother. Max had come, he had a little boy in his arms, he was shy and wouldn't come to her, her own son. She sat up in the bed, waking up. She looked for Max. He wasn't there. She went out to the kitchen. He was sitting there on his computer. He saw her and stood up. "Come here baby, let's talk." She nodded."Are you up to marrying me tomorrow?" She smiled,"Any time, any where." He told her he wanted to protect her. He handed her the bag that Dave had picked up from the pharmacy. She saw the anxiety medication and the pregnancy test. She nodded. "I had wondered if I was pregnant. I don't want it to be his." He nodded and smiled. "It doesn't matter to me love, I will love your baby, it's a part of you." He had practiced saying it to her in the mirror to her. He knew she needed the love now. He was actually feeling numb right now. Jeff had taken so much from Jamie already, he wouldn't let him take her child. Jamie rubbed her aching head. She took two pills and swallowed them down with a glass of ice water. She needed the Tylenol. She wanted to take the anxiety pills but would wait and take the pregnancy test first. Max kissed her and rubbed her arms. Let's go take a minute to talk about this little insurance plan I have. He held up the small zip drive. Jamie sat on the plush couch. Max slid the zip drive into his lap top. He moved next to her and started typing. He pulled up a spread sheet and showed it to her. " These are off shore accounts, I've been tracking Jeff's business and his deposits into these accounts. Grant and Jeff Allen are selling bit coins. These are coins that are not real. It appears to be a ponzi scheme. They take the p*****t and release the coins in large batches. They sell them and then purchase them back for penny's on the dollar. Jamie frowned. "You mean they are banking their investors money. If they go to cash the coins out, they won't be worth any where near what they paid for them." Max saw she was smart. "They show themselves as the largest investors at the top, attracting others to invest. They want to hold onto the shares so in time they grow in value. Jeff is selling all of their shares, they are worth less once he takes all of the profit. He made a deposit into the bank of Greece yesterday. He placed it into his father's account. They are both in on it. As long as they have new people investing, they keep making money. It's a total scam." Jamie smiled."You have proof if this?" He nodded. I have all of the accounts right here. If I leak any of this the whole scheme falls apart. The investors will want to sell their worthless shares. No more investors." Max sent the information to Detective Aragon. She was working with the security exchange commition- SEC. She was putting it all together right now.
