Alpha Mackenzie viciously punches the large metal cube in front of her, each punch leaving a large dent in the tough metal. She figured she’d have to start practising on something that can take her punches and a solid 3-tonne, 7 foot cube seems to be doing the trick so far. Lately, she’s been feeling stronger than usual, ever since she met Kayla for the first time and even since Kayla awakened her powers. Light energy… and ever since that time, Mackenzie has been racking her brain trying to figure out how she is connected in all of this. Mackenzie then continues to huff loudly, continuing to hit the metal in front of her just as loud metal crashing rings through the entire gym. She then yells out loud before she gives it one last blow, causing the 3-tonne cube to slide across the floor, a few feet away from her, blue electricity travelling from her fists and onto the shiny metal, crackling and buzzing along the surface before it quickly fades away. Mackenzie then exhales deeply, sweating heavily and bringing her hand forward to wipe away the sweat that has broken across her forehead. She then takes notice of her fists and sees that her skin is slightly bruised, but as quickly as the bruises formed, they’re gone in a matter of seconds. The perks of being a Lycan and a reincarnation of a First One… “I feel like sparring with you doesn’t even make sense anymore…” She hears someone say behind her and she quickly turns around, completely forgetting about the sound of someone entering the room considering her focus was on her training. Mackenzie soon turns around and finds her Mate standing a few feet from her, staring back at her with a small smirk playing on his lips, being impressed with how powerful his Mate is. “Hey, I’m always open to a sparring match…” Mackenzie lets out, grinning as she begins to walk towards him, not having seen him since the day before. “Some of us aren’t completely invulnerable like you…” Nate lets out and Mackenzie continues to walk towards him, reaching him and placing her hands on the back of his neck, beginning to kiss him slowly before she pulls away and stares at him, not wanting to embrace him considering how sweaty she is. “Hey baby… He greets her after pulling away from their kiss, keeping his hands around her waist as he stares down at her with admiration. “Hey… sorry, I’m all sweaty…” Mackenzie chuckles slightly and Nate shakes his head at her before reaching for another kiss, this one much deeper than the last. “Oh, it’s hot…” Nate whispers to her and she giggles lightly before stealing another kiss from him and staring up at him lovingly. “Mmnn…” Mackenzie hums softly just as she slides her hands from his neck down to his chest. “I missed you…” She tells him softly and Nate exhales just as he grabs hold of her chin and stares back at her with admiration. “I missed you even more…“ Nate answers her and Mackenzie smiles before she shakes her head slightly. “Did you come with Kayla?” Mackenzie asks him and Nate shakes his head in response just as Mackenzie slowly lets go of him and begins to walk towards the metal cube. “She got a little held up but she’ll be here later…” Nate informs her just as Mackenzie walks to the bottle of water stationed by one of the benches, reaching for it and taking long sips before looking back at her Mate. “What about Allison and Aelia?” Mackenzie continues to ask, eager to know when the two of them are going to arrive considering Mackenzie hasn’t told them anything that has happened, only because she wanted to be sure of Kayla and what she is, and it seems that she is definitely of their interest. “They’ll be here soon as well…” Nate responds and Mackenzie who has just downed an entire 1-litre bottle of water, huffs softly before she places the bottle down and looks back at Nate, all while walking to the 3-tonne cube and places one hand on it. “This will be a little loud…’” Mackenzie informs Nate and he nods at her once before he gives her the go to do what she needs to. Mackenzie then applies force on the cube and pushes it forward with one hand, the cube sliding across the floor with ease like butter over a hot pan. “How are you feeling?” Nate finally asks Mackenzie after she is successful in pushing the cub back to its original position. “Anxious… extremely anxious…” Mackenzie admits, slowly walking back to Nate as she sighs heavily, thinking of how her conversation with Allison, Aelia and Kayla is going to go. “I don’t know, I have a strong feeling Kayla might be connected in all this somehow…” Mackenzie trails off, not knowing how the feeling can be so jarring to think of. “We just have to figure out how…” . . . . . After a quick yet thorough shower, Makenzie makes her way to the ground floor of her Packhouse, rushing forward quickly and excitedly after getting news of who has arrived. She finally reaches the bottom of the steps before moving to the front door where she would find Nate already greeting their guests. Mackenzie watches as two girls, who are much shorter than Nate stand next to him, one of them with long red hair the other with a short brown bob, and it doesn’t take long for Mackenzie to figure out who they are. Mackenzie then watches as the redhead hugs Nate tenderly before she pulls back and as soon as she does, her gazes lock with Mackenzie, both of them becoming extremely excited to finally see each other again. “Allison! Aelia!” Mackenzie lets out as soon as she realizes that it’s them that have arrived. Both girls take notice of Mackenzie as soon as they hear her call for them and both Allison and Aelia grin widely at Mackenzie and rush past Nate. “Mackenzie!” Both Aelia and Allison say at the same time, walking quickly to Mackenzie and throwing their arms around her as soon as they reach her, engulfing her in a tender group hug. “Argh, it’s so good to see you guys…” Mackenzie says softly, closing her eyes for a few seconds before she pulls away to stare at the both of them, finding them grinning at her excitedly. “It’s good to see you guys too, in the flesh you know…” Allison is the first to say to her just as they pull away from each other and Mackenzie notices Nate walking up behind them, being happy to see them reunite after so long. “I’ve told you a thousand times, you’re always free to visit…“ Nate tells his younger half-sister just as Allison huffs and turns back to look at the Rogue King. “Yeah well Aelia’s trying to be a little more discreet these days about portal travel, and the whole teleportation thing makes me extremely sick, so I would avoid that all together.” Allison explains. “What matters is that you got here in one peace…” Nate, playing his role oh the protective older brother, lets out just as he places his arm around Allison and gives her a tender hug, and Mackenzie smiles at the two of them, loving that over the past few months, they have grown close together amidst finding out they’re half-siblings, sharing the same Mother but having different Fathers. “But how has everything been here Mackenzie… In the North things are actually getting better for us…” Aelia asks Mackenzie excitedly, her Viraanian accent still as strong as ever. “Same for us. I’m just glad the Humans have stopped coming for us and have finally just left us alone.” Mackenzie sighs slowly just as she begins to lead through them to the Packhouse and to the living room. Things were crazy in the weeks that followed after the Humans found out about the existence of Supernatural beings, but it’s been months now and Mackenzie can see that humans have finally started to accept the Viraai… and unfortunately, she can’t speak for the other species. “So… where is she?” Allison asks as soon as they reach the room, each of them taking a seat and focusing their attention on their host. “Nate says she’ll be here a little later… and she’s got some things to sort out…” Mackenzie answers Allison just as Nate nods his head in confirmation, “Alright… Now please…” Allison begins, leaning forward and placing his elbows on her knees, keeping her eyes on Mackenzie the entire time. “Tell us what this is all about, and don’t leave out any detail…” Allison finally requests and Mackenzie nods a few times at them before she takes a deep breath and begins to gather every bit of information she’s collected this far. This is definitely going to be quite the discussion…
