Chapter 10 - Present - Giselle
In a strange and uncomfortable scene... Far from the most distant dreams of d'Alberto' family, they would imagine that they would find themselves sitting there in the living room, drinking tea together with their Alpha as if it were a very ordinary day like any other. And in fact... It had been a long time since they had met like this, with Aaron and Giselle in the same room.
... Unlike the youngest son of the family, who sometimes ended up babysitting on some occasions when grounded, the couple rarely saw them together, almost as if they avoided being together in their presence...
Almost as if they didn't want them to know about something.
Sabrina had already been worried about this before, but her mate always reassured her about such thoughts, and even if it was true...
The man always made sure to remind her that they were both no longer children, so there was nothing they could do if they were in some kind of relationship, no matter how much she disliked it.
... But of course, he knew there was nothing to worry about, as he had already confirmed with his son in secret before after noticing the doubts and discomforts arising in his wife's mind...
Fears that would make Giselle laugh if she heard about them as most of the time she thought the only reason her Mate talked with her was because of their parents' marriage... And only that.
"It's been quite a while since I last saw you and Sabrina, Charles. I can only imagine that business is going well to keep you two so busy."
Politely, Magnolia had a smile on her lips when she began such a conversation with the couple, bringing some cookies and other snacks for them to enjoy with her as she sat down.
"I see the boys, especially Ronnie, all the time around the house, and I don't even need to mention my sweet Elle, as you two already know..."She said as she placed her hand on the leg of the young she-wolf that was serving the hot drink for the Pack's members, who were Mirror Night's female Alpha's guests.
"I'm sorry, Alpha. I promise you two will see us more from now on."
As Magnolia had expected, the older Human answered her with the best answer he could have, already used to life in the Pack after all those years.
"But you are not wrong. We're changing the way we do some things in the woodshop, so recently, we have been busier than usual, but I expect things to settle down soon as everything will start to work in the way we want it to."
His old childhood dream, which became real when the man moved to the small town, had also been where he met his wife for the first time before taking his ideas off the paper.
But since then, many things had changed, the business had grown, and Sabrina was also helping him daily in the woodshop now.
... Her help was essential for things to grow even more and improve in the right direction, even if it kept them extremely busy until then...
"Well, in that case, I'm glad to hear it. After all, we aren't a big family here just for show. So in case you two need help with anything, don't forget to ask, as I'm pretty sure there will be more than enough hands to help you out."
Just as shown with her words, Magnolia's concern was real, and something that many could say about her was how the turned she-wolf hated it when the Pack's members lied, saying they were busy when they had some kind of issue since they were all like her children for her.
So she wanted to make sure that they all told her the truth at all times like this, allowing them to help whenever possible with all the other wolves that lived in their lands.

Once more, Alpha Magnolia made me know why she was one of the Alphas that I respected while how she was the perfect Mate for Alpha Dylan.
They simply completed each other in the best way as a couple that I just couldn't imagine the same for me as I failed to even have a normal conversation with my other half without him showing that he hated every aspect of it.
...Another proof that not all Mates couples were meant to be together to me, even if they were side by side through life...
"We will do that if necessary, Alpha. But I swear there's nothing you need to worry about us. We're just busy, I swear." But bringing me back to their conversation, I heard my stepfather comfort our leader with the best answer anyone would be able to give her while my mother remained quiet beside her as she always did when she was in front of the older she-wolf.
... For some reason, I had the great impression that she wasn't very fond of Alpha Magnolia over the years, although sometimes I believed it was some kind of fear that I didn't know how to explain that made her always remain quiet in her presence...
Which was pretty strange to me, even if I didn't know the whole reason behind it, although I can't deny that our female leader could be quite scary at times.
...But as the rest of the day went on, Alpha Magnolia spoke to us only a little longer before new tasks that needed some assistance to be done came up...
Especially for me and Aaron, who were the younger ones with them, and we only met again with Eddy, our parents, and his brothers when the evening finally came.
Daniel might not live with us anymore, but it didn't mean that he had stopped following the traditions of our Pack.
Thus every month, he returned home at least once because of the Full Moon nights, and it would be no different on the Solstice when he greeted me upon arriving before quickly joining the wolves who were his friends…
...One particular she-wolf being among them was someone he liked to call his fiancée, yet the fact that she was his Mate made her presence there entirely natural...
Mirror Night definitely was his and his brothers' Pack just as it was mine, despite the fact that they're Humans.
But as the other members arrived, I was distracted by simple cups of soda like I needed an extra dose of energy tonight, as if all the adrenaline rushing through my body wasn't enough to keep me awake while I watched them from afar.
...The man who was a year older than me soon found himself with Ronnie and Aaron, having a great smile on his face every time he spoke to his Mate amidst their conversation.
While it happened, the she-wolf was busy with Eddy amidst the brothers in a way I wish I could be, and just before our eyes met, the voice of our Alphas caught everyone's attention.
... Alpha Dylan then announced the beginning of the Solstice night, and as always, his words were a mixture of our beliefs as Werewolves along with those he and Alpha Magnolia still held from their Human life...
However, it didn't take much more than half an hour before we were through the lands of the Pack in our other shapes that were as natural as those on two legs for us... And for sure, nothing was better than the feeling of our paws touching the ground during the Solstice night as we moved freely through the forest.
