Meeting her college ex at the drugstore was definitely not something Giselle expected to happen, let alone the fact that he refused to let her pay for the pregnancy tests, saying that it was his apology for startling her earlier.

And as he knew her personality very well like her friends and the Pack's members did, Conan was sure she would end up accepting it after he insisted for a little longer.

"I hope the result is the one you want to see." Before she left the store, he commented, showing another smile on his lips, and Elle was only able to reflect on how he truly didn't look like her Mate, even if it had never been her intention to compare both men.

But she felt the real insecurity when her phone alarm rang again, and this time with more rush than before she went to the bathroom only to see the same result once more...

"I'll be resting in my room with Eddy; if you need anything, call me without yelling."

For the second time that day, Giselle's voice left Ronnie scared of her, agreeing right away with what she had said before thinking that it would be better to leave her alone, calling his nephew to watch a movie with him.
