The Company

{Lilith’s POV} I paid for the dress, it was more expensive then I would have wanted it to be, but for a one of a kind dress, I was fine with it. I smiled down at my bag and made my way to my friend Mary’s salon! As I walked in she turned grinning at me, she was 5’5, her black hair hung down to her chin in a short bob, and her eyes a deep blue. She was always so happy, I don’t understand how, but she always had a cheerful disposition and it made everyone around her light up. She walked over throwing her hands around my neck. “Lilith, you come to pay me a visit?” She asked pulling back from our embrace and looking at me. “I’ve missed you! It’s been too long!” “I’ve missed you too Mary! I wanted to see if you can help me with something, I need my hair fixed, something elegant that I can still dance in..” I said looking to the mirror at my messy hair. “I think I can manage that!” She giggled happily. “But you can’t take your bike anywhere after I fix it. You can borrow my car for the night though!” She said smiling. “Thank you for the offer, but I think I’ll just hail a cab from here, then I’ll find my way back. The company building I’m going to isn’t far from here, so it should be fine.” I smiled happily. She sat me down in the chair, and began working on my hair. She did a beautiful braid that wrapped around my head and she began placing bobby pins in it to hold it. Once she was happy with her work she pulled down a couple of strands to frame my face, then curled them. She sprayed my hair with hairspray and once she was sure it wouldn’t move she stepped back smiling. “All done!” She said a grin spread from ear to ear. I leaned forward inspecting it, “Amazing, as always!” I turned to her giggling like a school girl. “Is it okay if I do my makeup here too?” I ask looking to her to make sure it was okay. She nodded, “of course! I’ve got some extra colors and stuff in the back if you want my help, you know that I do makeup and hair for a living!” She said cheerfully. “Really? You wouldn’t mind?” I asked. “Of course not! Let’s go get it done! What are you thinking?” She asked. After about an hour of her working on my face I stepped back to take a look. I looked beautiful, she did a good job on making it look so natural, she did a deep brown Smokey eye and my eyeliner was perfect! “I look, so pretty!” I said reaching up and touching my face softly. “You’re beautiful Lilith, you always have been! Now let’s see that dress!” She cheered. I nodded walking into the back and changing, I came out in strapped black heels, they added six inches to my heigh, making me stand at 5’8. The dress was a deep Forrest green, it was mid thigh length with a slit up one side revealing my toned, thick thigh. I covered my scar with black stockings, and strutted into the room walking to the floor length mirror and staring at my reflection. I looked gorgeous, I couldn’t believe that what I was seeing in the reflection was actually me. “Wow..” Mary said looking over me. “You look amazing! You’re going to kill tonight!” She said in her normal cheerful tone. I looked over to her and hugged her tightly. “Thank you! I feel so pretty!” I said smiling from ear to ear. I looked at the time, after spending all day eating, shopping, getting pampered, and hanging out with Mary it was already 7:45pm. “I’m sorry, but I have to run! I’ll let you know how it goes tomorrow!” I shriek gleefully, giving her another hug and paying her for all the work she did. I quickly ran out getting on my bike, completely ignoring Mary’s advice. I drove slowly and carefully without my helmet on and made my way to the McNeil Company Building. I pulled up out front and could see some of the other girls going in. I smile, setting up the kick stand and hopping off my bike, walking to the front door. At the front door stood Drew, the man who hired me for this event. He looked over as I began approaching, his eyes trailing up and down my body. I could tell he was checking me out, he made it rather obvious. “Don’t you look ravishing!” He said trailing my body with his eyes in a slow gaze. “Thank you.” I giggled out giving him a little spin. “Now where do you need me?” “Bent over the table, I hope!” I heard from inside my own head. I looked around, wondering if it was just my own imagination, or what.. but I realized that it wasn’t me who thought it. My confused expression must have worried Drew he looked around and asked. “Are you okay?” “I’m fine, sorry.. thought I heard something!” I smiled shyly trying to put that incident behind me. He smirked in a knowing way, and sniffed the air. “Do you smell that?” He asked. I shook my head. “What am I meant to be smelling?” I asked laughing. “The beginnings of a good night!” He joked tossing his arm around me and walking me into the company building. As we made our way inside I couldn’t help but ogle at the infrastructure, it was beautiful. The room was massive with a chandelier hanging from the center of the ceiling. There were silky ribbons also strung from the ceiling. “Silk dancing too?” I asked smirking at him. “Do you know how?” He asked eagerly. “Of course, it’s one of the first things I learned!” I smiled, earning a surprised grin from him. “You truly are a wonder to behold, we’ll have you on silk’s and pole, if you’re okay with that!” He said smiling down at me, “Of course, wherever you need me, that’s where I’ll be!” I grinned, amused by the look of this place. It looked so regal, but at the same time, it was set up with all of this equipment. “Your dressing room is back here!” He said leading me back to a room where the other dancers were getting ready. “We have a few outfits to chose from, everyone has different selections that we thought would best look on each of you. Once you’re ready you can come on out and begin.” He said clapping his hands together. “Okay ladies, it’s nearly show time!” He turned back to me. “Once you do a few dances you can take a break, come work the bar, then once you’re ready to go back all you have to do is say the word!” He said smirking down at me, his eyes trailing down to my cleavage and resting there for a moment. “Have fun out there ladies!” He said turning and closing the door behind me. I turned around walking to where he pointed me to and began looking through the clothes. I think I found the perfect thing to wear!
