Meeting Toby

I didn’t sleep till after 1 am which was when Sam sent me the last text message that his wife had bought all the stories he had told her to cover up our affair. I didn’t really bother about Toby’s whereabouts because I knew sooner or later he would return home. Well sure enough Toby returned home after 4 am and because he didn’t want to wake me up he just slept on the floor of our bedroom. I got up at 6 am to go to the washroom and stumbled on him lying on the floor but I never took any notice of him, I just tiptoed to the washroom and back and straight into bed. The next morning was Sunday so I asked my niece Phils and cousin Mary if they would open the Café for me because I was just too tired.
My Mum never really wanted to disturb my Sunday morning lie-in so she took all the kids down to the Café with the two girls and they made breakfast for them there. I on the other hand got up and poured myself a cup of coffee before having a shower. Toby however didn’t get up till 11 am, had his shower, and came looking for me. Phils my niece told him that I had taken the kids to the beach so he followed us down to the beach all worried at what I would say about his missing from home for two nights.
When he came I was talking on the phone so he sat beside me and kissed my forehead. I told Sam who was on the other end of the line, “I need to go because Toby just arrived and I really need to check on him because I think he has been f*****g around and if he has I will cut his d**k and balls off,” I told Sam over the phone. Now it was time for Sam to advise me. “MJ please go easy with your husband because he must have been tired and needed the break so please cut him some lose and maybe a good f**k will do you both good,” he said.
We said our goodbyes and I hung up and looked at Toby. “Ok lover boy where have you been for two nights and two whole days. You know I your wife expected you to be at home last night, in fact, I expected you to wait for us when we got off the bus but you decided to be with your friends which to me is just purely self-centered and arrogant. You were supposed to be at home to me the kids and I, had I known I should have just continued going and never returned,” I picked a fuss lying.
“Ok MJ my babe I love you and yes whatever you're saying is true but please believe I didn’t sleep with anyone I was just drinking with my mates and we slept at the motel then we woke up and continued drinking and that’s why I returned late. I didn’t mean to miss your trip I wanted to pick you gang up but I slept through it and woke up late, so I apologize and am sorry and hope you will accept me for such behavior,” Toby confessed. “I love you too Toby, babe, and yes I forgive you,” I said.
“Mum, Toby said can I ask you something, “ What was Sam doing in the Capital City with you I saw some photos on f*******:”. “Oh ok see I went out with Cousin Luis and the other mothers and we met him at the club and invited him to come to drink with us. Well, Luis did invite him and yes we all stood around and drank together nothing much nothing less,” I lied. What the heck I thought to myself. As Toby stood up to go for a deep I quickly sent Sam a message telling him that Toby had seen pictures and had asked me about our meet.
This time around when he came out from the dip he said “I would like you to promise me that you will not see him again or even talk to him if you see him on the street because I have the strangest feeling that you both still have feelings for each other and you might even just fall in love again if given a chance,”. “Fine, I will not talk to him next time I promise,” I said sarcastically.
So I sent Sam a text message and told him that I was not allowed to see him again or even talk to him again if I ever saw him on the street.
