Chapter Sixty Eight: The forger's Precious Gifts.

"I'm not giving you because I want to give you, I'm giving you because I want to see you win that game tonight. I want my daughter to be just like you when she grows up. Promise that you will participate in that game contest tonight?" The forger asked holding Mia's two hands.

"Because of you, I will participate in the game tonight. Thank you for the Gauntlets." Mia said. "Can you forge me a sword instead of the Gauntlet I requested."

"Sure, I will do that and I promise you, it will be ready before the contest starts." The forger said.

"I'll meet you before the contest then." Mia said as she exited the forging room.

Right now she's heading for the game arena to register as a participant for the evening beast slaying contest.

The game coordinator was happy to see Mia once again and so he had personally attended to her.

When he heard that she planned to take part in the contest he was more glad that he quickly wrote down Mia's name among the other participants.

Afterwards, he brought out a recording crystal to inform everyone that Mia would be fighting in the beast contest tonight.

Like a wildfire, the news had spread around to everyone in the kingdom and a lot of people started rushing to the game arena to obtain their tickets. Those who had experienced the first bet that took place had started betting on Mia winning this game.

The contest will be a battle of strength against high tier beasts between six contestants.

Each contestant will be taken to different arenas where beasts from lower tiers to higher tiers would be given to them to fight.

Mia left the arena as she went towards the place the seer had described through her message that they are staying presently. She was wondering if Roselle is there or not.

After successfully getting to where the seer had described to her, she entered the place and she saw that everyone including Roselle was in there.

She still have some questions to ask Roselle, about the betting and the money she got from the betting. She don't know her reason for doing so but she decided not to rush things on her. So she decided to ask her the questions later.

Just as she entered the room, someone suddenly rushed to meet her. It was a young boy with a bushy hair.

"So you are the conqueror? I finally get to meet the conqueror, my dream came true." James said as he glared at Mia as if he was in front of a god.

"Hi, nice to meeting you." Mia forcefully said, she don't know who the boy is but since he's with the seer and he knows that she is the conqueror, she thought that perhaps they told him about her.

James brought out the books and all other things he had been using to proclaim the prophecy of the Conqueror, as he showed it to Mia.

"I'm an huge follower of you, and I'm happy that you're real. I've always tell everyone about your existence but they won't believe me. I've been beaten several times for mentioning the name conqueror in their midst, but now that you're here, everyone will believe me." James said and Mia was curious to know more about it.

"Tell me more about your experience." Mia said as she sat down to listen to James.

After a few minutes of discussion, Mia could understand that James was a boy whose parents had left all alone to live in another kingdom, the stone kingdom. But James had chosen his own path by staying in the red beast kingdom. And as a young boy with the aim of leading the world to a right path, he had to suffer many hardships and beatings from the world. Through hunger and thirst, he finally came out fine.

Mia was proud of someone like him and so she advised him not to relent as he could become someone greater in future, that everyone would be willing to listen to what he says, and would believe his words.

After the discussion between Mia and James ended, she went to meet Roselle to begin some questionings, but before she could say anything, the seer had interfered by saying that the money that Roselle won from the betting game will be given to the treasurer of the Sparrow kingdom for the purchase of the necessary materials to hasten the building of the kingdom. Mia then recalled that the kingdom really needs some building materials but they were unable to get due to how expensive it is.

What Roselle had done was a proper thing and Mia had to thank her for her brilliant idea on betting in the game arena.

"It's nothing. I think about my kingdom all the time that's why." Roselle said with a smile. "And if it hadn't been you who won the fight, we wouldn't have gotten this much."

"But still, you are the one who had came up with the idea." Mia said before remembering something. She and Roselle have not had the chance of getting close with each other to be able to discuss things together, so Mia was trying to find a way of getting close to her. She's always seen beside the seer and so Mia want to change that.

"Hey Roselle, why don't we two have a race tomorrow morning before anyone could wake up." Mia said.

"A race?! Sure!" Roselle said excitedly.

"Okay, but I want you to do some betting on me winning this evening, will you?" Mia asked.

"Yup!" Roselle agreed excitedly.

After eating and taking a quick nap, Mia got ready to go for the beast slaying contest, but before going to the game arena, she decided to visit the forger whose name is Mr Cracker. She also made sure she took the gifted Gauntlets with her since she would be fighting soon. Apart from that, she had packaged some things for the forger in a way of showing appreciation for the Gauntlet he had gifted her.

She had packaged some crystals for him so he could sell and use to forge weapons and armours.

On getting to the forging room, she saw that the hardworking forger was busy hammering away on some crystals, that he didn't know that someone had entered. To not make him freak out, Mia decided to tap him gently on the shoulder. The forger removed the face cover that he was using to prevent his face from getting affected by the fire, and as he turned around, he saw that it was Mia.

"Oh, you're back! I'm done with the sword for the past one hour now, so it is ready for you take away." The forger said with a smile as he took Mia to the table where all forged weapons are being placed.

"I present to you the outstanding Glowing Sword!" The forger announced as he remove the white cloth that was covering the forged sword.
