Chapter Sixty One: Battle with Lod 1

While the seer, Mia and Ajay were discussing in the room they rented in the hotel, suddenly, screams of terror and alarms kept on ringing throughout the whole hotel. People were running Helter Skelter as if some giant bees were chasing after them.

The seer, Ajay and Mia quickly rushed out of the room to know what was going on. They asked several people what was happening on their way to the exit, but they were too scared to reply. So everyone just kept running.

As they got out of the hotel, they saw all types of demons and giants from the underworld. They were all uncountable. What was strange was that the demons seems to be searching for someone. They would picked a human from the ground, draw him closer to their face before flinging them away in disapproval of who they were searching for.

"Mia, that is why you are reason why this kingdom has no king and as been called the cursed kingdom. Many years ago, a prophecy had came out declaring that the Conqueror would be visiting this kingdom and she will be the ruler over it. But ever since Arthur had heard it, he linked the underworld to this kingdom so his evil forces could stop you from ruling over the kingdom." The seer said.

Arthur had done this to stall Mia from getting to the next kingdom before him. He's planning to use everyone's soul to form demons that would wage war against Mia. The souls of the king of the cursed Kingdom has been used to create demons which are the ones destroying the cursed kingdom presently. If the people happen to know that the past king of their kingdom were the demons causing terror on them, they wouldn't have believe.

When Mia got to the cursed Kingdom, the demons had felt her presence and they got themselves ready to fight against her.

Demon minotaurs, Harpies, slime snake, lions with a mane full of fire, the three headed dog, and many other terrifying creatures were there.

After the seer had explained why Mia was the reason why the kingdom was in chaos, she then understood that she have to put an end to all the demons and beasts that are causing terror into the hearts of the people.

She checked her skill set and a beautiful smile appeared on her face. She was happy that with the fire ability and the lightning ability, she could easily deal with the demons.

She went towards the huge demons and creatures, and shouted to call for their attention.

"Hey! Here I am, come and get me!!" Mia shouted. Those that were beside her were surprised on what she had just said. When everyone is running around for safety, here a lady is calling out for the demon. They actually thought Mia was crazy so they quickly left her side before the demons could catch them with the crazy lady.

The demons saw that the person they have been searching for was in front of them, but instead of running towards her, they all stood upright. Soon after, they all bowed as an half human and half demon appeared in their midst.

"Who is he?" Ajay asked the seer.

"That's Arthur's brother." the seer answered.

Arthur's brother, Lod, was a human before he was influenced by his brother, Arthur to become a fiend like him. He accepted his offer and he received a demon body. His power as an half demon half human is to create dark lightning.

Lod stood in front of every other demons as he stared intently at Mia with a frown on his face.

"I didn't know that you are a tiny human, what is so precious about you that everyone hails. I only see a loser in front of me, to be honest you suck." Lod tried to taunt Mia with his harshy words.

Mia didn't feel moved at all, she didn't even feel hurt by any of his words because none of the words seems to be true. She's not a loser and she doesn't suck. That's what the opponent would always do once he sees someone stronger in front of him.

He will use his harshy words and taunts to break down the courage that the person had already build, but, not on Mia's case.

"If you think that I feel moved by your words, far from it, I don't give a f**k on what you said." Mia said as she activated her lightning strike skill and ran towards Lod to strike at him. Lod who had seen this coming, electrocuted himself with lightning for protection against the attack from Mia.

Mia's lightning perished as it touched Lod's electrocuted body.

She cancelled the skill and used the same lightning strike skill once again. But, the same thing happened, the lightning perished as it touched Lod's electrocuted body.

' It just keeps on perishing, what should I do? ' Mia thought as she looked through all her lightning skills.

Her lightning attributes are in a total of fifty before, but now, the totality is forty eight. It seems like each attack is a discount of 1 point. If she couldn't finish Lod once and for all, her lightning points would just be a waste.

So she strolled through all the skills and decided to use a particular skill. She then came up with an idea of confusing Lod.

She activated her lightning strike skill once again and she started running towards Lod.

"I thought you would have learnt your lesson but it doesn't seem so. You are so weak and inexperience. You are just relying on your powers to fight, you pathetic creature!" Lod said and he started laughing, the demons that were beside him were also laughing at Mia. "If I had know that you are this weak I wouldn't have come, Ahahah!"

Lod electrocuted himself again with his black lightning and when Mia got close to him, she activated her fire ball skill and it sent Lod flying out in the air.
