Chapter Sixty: You are the cause of the problem

"Hey, what did I do? Why are you dragging me away. Let me enjoy myself." The man said as he was drunk.

Mia and Ajay dragged the drunk man out of the bar for some questioning.

After the man has been successful dragged out of the bar, Mia started asking questions from the man, although he was drunk, his mental state is still active.

And it seems like he could answer any question being asked from him.

"I can see that you know a lot about this kingdom. You must be a journalist or a writer, I think." Mia said and the drunk man just smiled at what she had said, but since he had spoken nothing, Mia continue with her discussion, "So, why is this kingdom called the cursed kingdom?" Mia asked.

The man was silent at first but later he glared at Ajay before turning his head to look at Mia. His vision was blurry so he wasn't able to see the face of the person who was asking him the question.

After that, he started talking in an attempt to answer Mia's question.

"This kingdom is called a cursed kingdom because of you guys, you, you and you." The man said pointing at the three blurry figures that he saw in front of him. "Because of you guys, demons and devils from the underworld emerged in our midsts through the souls of our kings. Our kings had to bear the curse of living a short life because of you. All because of a conqueror, we don't have a King or ruler." The man said.

Mia was confused as she heard what the man had just said, ' why is it because of me that this kingdom failed to have a King. What does the curse of this kingdom has to do with her, and about the demons and all sort, why is everything just muddled up? ' Mia thought, she was really, really confused about the whole matter.

They freed the man who swiftly made his way back to the bar and gently sat down on his comfy bar chair.

Mia explained all what the man had said to the seer and while they were busy discussing about this, the waitress had came to attend to them.

"I could see that you haven't ordered anything, what would you like to have? There is Rum, Coffee, Fruit juice, Tea, alcohols, and many other drinks you would like to have." The waitress said waiting to receive their orders.

"Permit me waitress, can we find somewhere we could sleep in for tonight?" Mia asked the waitress.

"Oh, you are visiting here for the first time? Well, when you go out now, by your right hand side you will see a very big building that is used as an hotel, you could find some cheap room to rent for the night." The waitress described.

As soon as the waitress finished describing the place to them, Mia thanked her.

"Sorry about this but we won't be buying anything." Mia said.

"No problem, well, enjoy your stay in our kingdom." The lady said as she dashed off to take orders from the other customers.

Mia and the others left the bar as they went towards the hotel that the waitress had described to them. They went straight for the reception where a female receptionist was there to receive them.

"Good evening sir's and ma's, welcome to the cursed hotel, please do enjoy your stay with us." The female receptionist said.

' Why is everything here all about curse? Cursed kingdom, curse hotel, cursed food, cursed drinks, cursed people and all sort. Can't we talk about something having no cursed in it. ' Mia thought in her mind.

"Err, please, can we get a two room apartment?" Mia asked.

"The cost is 200 credits." The lady said and Mia brought out the money to give to her but Ajay stopped her from paying.

"You don't pay while I'm here." Ajay said as he handed a 200 credit from his own pocket to the female receptionist.

They were given the key to the room they rented and they all went to the room number given to them.

After successfully getting inside the room, they all bid themselves goodnight as they all went to sleep. They suspended all discussions till tomorrow.

Greg and Ajay was sleeping in a room while the seer, Mia and Roselle were sleeping at the second room.

Early in the morning, they all woke up and before they could leave the room, the seer called for the attention of everyone.

"With the way things are in this kingdom, it will be difficult to get informations from people. That is if they even know what is going on." The seer said.

"So, how do we go about it? Should we leave for the next kingdom?" Ajay asked.

"No, that is a capital NO. Listen to me, I had a vision last night and I was able to see all what had happened in the past that caused this kingdom and it's people to be dismantled." The Seer said.

"Then, what is this vision about?" Ajay said again and the seer had to cast a mouth binding spell to keep Ajay's mouth shut.

"That'll be the last time I will hear you interrupt my discussion." The seer said with annoyance and before she could continue with her discussion, she cancelled the mouth binding spell and Ajay was free to speak again.

"Sorry." Ajay said and the seer gave her a deadly stare.

"I'm just apologizing to you, I'm sorry." Ajay said and the seer just glared at him with a smirk on her face.

"Whatever." The seer said.

"So, as I was saying, Mia, do you recall the face of the man who said that you are the main reason why the kingdom is called the cursed kingdom. Do you really believe that what he said is true, could it be that you are the cause of all the problems that is occuring in this kingdom?" The seer asked.
