Chapter Sixty Two: Battle with Lod 2

Mia ran towards Lod with her lightning strike skill activated but as she got closer to Lod, she cancelled her lightning strike skill and activated her fire ball skill. Just at the same time, she threw the fire ball at Lod which penetrated his electrocuted body and sent him flying out into the sky.

Everyone was shocked as they saw this, the demons couldn't believe it.

Finally, Lod landed back to the ground but he had a burn mark on his chest.

He commanded the three headed dogs to fight Mia, the dogs barked as a signal of obeying his order.

The three headed dogs were in a total of five and they all have a special power of echoing sounds. The sounds they echo could drain the life force of the hearer, deafen the hearer or make him paralyze.

As soon as the dog were given permission by Lod to fight against Mia, they started barking, giving out signal that they are about to echo a thunderous sound. Mia had never fought such a creature as such, so she didn't know what and what the dog could not do.

The seer noticed that the dog were about to echo and she knew that Mia might end up dead if the echo enters her ear. So she shouted for Mia to run but she was unable to hear anything due to the noise and barking from the dogs.

That was when Roselle had ran out to rescue Mia from getting affected by the echo, and luckily, they were able to hide in a container, free from the sound of the echo. The seer had casted a sound barrier magic so they won't be able to hear the sound of the echo. What was surprising to Mia was that, Roselle had also performed the same magic while in the container, to prevent themselves for hearing the sound.

' She had learned a lot of magic from the seer within a short time. That's impressive.' Mia thought as a smile appeared on her face.

"Thank you very much Roselle for your help." Mia said and Roselle smiled back to her. Her smile was the most cutest smile she had ever seen.

After the sound died down, Mia and Roselle got out of the container but they were shocked when they saw that many people had die, due to the echo sound they heard.

Mia was angry and almost felt like crying, she turned to look at the three headed dogs and immediately, she activated her fire Horn skill and she slayed the heads of all the dogs as fast as she could. Black blood could now be seen oozing out of the body of the dogs.

Before Mia could take a step, another creature had came to fight her, a slime snake with gluey green gums. The snake was a long one and it's powers is to spit out gluey green gums.

The snake started spitting out the green slimy gums but Mia would always block the attacks by using her fire shield skill.

' I guess this shield have an importance now. I thought it is useless for not being able to defend the attacks from swords and arrows, but this seems nice. ' Mia thought as she kept on defending the attacks.

' Gosh, time is going, I need to finish this fight once and for all. ' Mia thought as she checked the skill she could use to destroy a mass number of opponent. That was when she came across some skills.

' Fire Quake, Fire Stream, fire storm. These skills will help me finish this fight once and for all. ' Mia thought.

Using the fire quake skill will require the user to place his two hands on the floor so the skill could be activated. Once the user has placed his hands on the ground, and the skill has been activated, the ground will start shaking and fire will start erupting from beneath, thereby causing the opponent to be swallowed by the ground or to be burned by the erupting fire.

Mia can't use this skill now because she is still defending the attacks of the slime snake, and she need her two hands to be free if she want to activate the skill. Her right hand is curved with a shield of fire, she need to find a way to stall the creature if she want to activate the skill.

On the second part, the Fire stream skill doesn't require the user to place his hands on the ground, the user would only stretch his hands towards the opponent and once the fire stream skill has been activated, the whole opponent in front of the user will be cleared off.

Mia had thought of using it before now but as she read what it could do again, she finally agreed to use it.

She cancelled her fire shield skill and stretch her hands out to the opponents in front of her, the fire stream was activated and a stream of fire rushed out at the demons. But, before the fire could get to Lod, he had already disappeared out of sight, leaving the demons and creatures that he brought along, to suffer the quenchable fire from Mia.

The slime snakes, Minotaur, Harpies and all other creatures had turned into crisp. They were all burnt except one, the lion with a mane of fire.

It was like due to his fire ability, it is resistant to any types of fire attacks.

The mane of the lion is glowing brightly with fire and the same thing could be said for every part of it's body.

The Lion gave out a thunderous roar before running towards Mia at a very high speed.

Mia also engaged herself into a full battle mode, as she charged herself with the lightning powers she possess. She infused the lightning to her feet thereby adding more speed to her already gained supernatural speed.

' How about I use the lightning spark on you.' Mia said in her mind.
