Chapter 111: Daily Quest.

In the present world that Mia was in, several things are occuring that are far worst than what was happening in the past.

It is still war between immortals and mortals. And to be frank, humans are going to extinction sooner or later due to the amount of people that had been killed at war. The war was between humans and the Gayas also known as (Mutants). They are different from superheroes because mutants gains their powers from birth while superheroes learns and develops theirs for a longer period of time.

About some years ago, when the world was free from war. Some scientist who had carried out some experiments in an hospital, found out that the amount of babies that were being born are having abnormal cells and bloods.

They discovered some having green, blue and black bloods while some babies could stretch their bodies beyond what a normal human baby could do. All these signs keeps on occuring in several hospitals and places but when the babies grew up a bit, they started going outside the world, displaying their special skills and confusing humans with it.

They would often use the advantages of their special skills to steal, kill, eat and do many other bad things. The people were fed up and they had to protest for these kids to be arrested.

But before the government could proceed in arresting them, he gave the scientist a go ahead to dig more facts about what these babies could do and could not.

The scientist did so as they carried out several experiments on one of the babies and after a while, the scientist reported back to the government that these babies are mutants. They added to it that these babies are dangerous to be kept in the city or else, everyone would be like prey in their eyes.

The government heed to the advice of the scientist and an alarm was placed out for all mutants to leave the earth, or else they will be killed.

The mutants who feared themselves from being killed escape the planet Earth for some other planet. Or perhaps they got helped by some betrayals.

After the alarm was placed out for all mutants living in earth to leave the planet and which they leaved without much trouble, the government found out that the scientist who had carried out the experimenting of the Mutants are all nowhere to be found. All the government thought was maybe the mutants had killed all the scientist before leaving, so they quickly forgot about them, but the truth of the matter lies in an hidden place.

Few years from when the mutants left the earth planet, several space ships could be seen hovering above the sky of the earth planet. It is a grand war that the earth never expected to occur.

Several buildings were being bombed and destroyed in just a few minutes. Many lives were lost in three days of continuous killing.

The whole world was in chaos as many lives has been waisted. The military of the earth planet were unable to stop the war, but at the very last moment, some heroes had arrived to save the day. They displayed a great amount of skills and powers and with ease, they were able to match the Gayas and defeated 2/5 of their space ship.

Many called them good mutants while the ones that almost killed them all were referred to as bad mutants.

But these guys said that they weren't mutants but superheroes. They also mentioned in their comments that everyone could have the powers that they have but not all the powers.

After everyone started learning this so called power which is called 'Ability', everyone was required to go to military school for 2 years. Even though humans and Gayas were in a peaceful period, everyone knew that it wouldn't last forever.

Every day there was news of one race antagonizing the other and war felt like it could break out at any moment.

To not raise suspicion, Mia decided to act along as she packed every of the loads that the girl have, which is just a little amount of clothes in a small travelling bag.

Once Mia stepped out of her room into the outside world, something strange happened. A new notification screen had appeared.

Suddenly, Mia's body felt extremely sluggish. It felt like she had just gone for a 5k run and returned. Her arms and legs felt heavier and there was nothing she could do about it.

"Why is this girl's body so hard to move like this. I'm not feeling good. Gosh I'm sweating." Mia said, staring at the notification screen of the system.

Mia then went to check her status and saw that her stats did indeed go down by half. But it wasn't just her stats, her HP was halved as well.

"What kind of drawback is this!" Mia thought. She never experienced such thing when she had the dragon system.

"This girl is so unlucky to have such a system as this. This might be the reason why she's being bullied all the time.

Then a new notification had appeared.

Mia's mood slightly changed as soon as she saw the new daily quest. Unlike the juice one, this was something she was able to do naturally just by sleeping.

If she keeps on drinking juice, there's possibility that she'll become a diarrhea patient.

Also, since the system looks a lot similar to the one she once have in her past life, then that meant once Mia earned 100 exp points, she would be able to level up and also increase her stats.

So the more daily quests Mia got, the better it was for her.

"What are you doing walking so slowly! The school will eat you alive if you carry on like that!" Sergeant Nick shouted.
