Sixty Six: Defeating the Minotaur.

As Mia held the two horns of the beast in her hands, the beast was trying it's best to grab Mia with it's hands, but Mia would instantly stop him from moving by pulling it's horns. Finally, she gained more Mana from the people around.

The Mana borrow skill could work without the need of her touching people, so it made things easier for her when she borrowed the Mana.

Now that she had more Mana, she controlled the Mana to flow widely at her arm region so she could win the battle of strength against the Minotaur. And successfully, the Minotaur was getting weakened by Mia's strength. Slowly, the Minotaur start getting down to it's knees.

While the Minotaur was getting on it's knees, Mia had broken it's two horn, thereby turning it to a hornless Minotaur. The people were amazed as they saw this, they couldn't believe that an ordinary human could do such thing.

The Minotaur roared with anger as it stood up to fight Mia, it have had enough of Mia's punishment, now it wants to retaliate back.

The Minotaur swung it's tail at Mia and Mia was thrown to the wall of the arena.

"Heck, that attack was strong." Mia said as she cleaned off the blood that was on her lips.

The Minotaur jumped at her from where it was, making Mia to spit out more blood and to lose 100 of her HP.

-100 HP

HP: 800/1000

"Come on Mia you can do this." Roselle said as she prayed within herself.

The seer and the others were also praying for her to stand up. Fighting a Minotaur is like fighting a demon with four arms, or it could be said that you are fighting a huge jungle gorilla.

The Minotaur roared once again as it beats it's chest with it's two hands, showing that it is strong.

"So you're trying to mock me?" Mia said before examining her fist which seems like it was broken. Even though her fist is broken, she would still fight the beast with that same fist.

"If you get the strength then I'll tell you that I have speed." Mia said as she started running, she kept on running around the Minotaur at a very high speed, but what Mia notice was that as she kept on running, her speed kept on increasing.

To not cause suspicion among the people she decided to reduce her speed and later when she's free from all the bugging eyes of the people, she could test out her speed. Maybe she could call Roselle all over for a friendly race together.

The Minotaur was confused as she saw Mia running around itself, it wasn't able to attack Mia but Mia was able to attack it. Mia had brought out her sword and as she was running around the beast, she kept on striking at the Minotaur. The sword had cut off one of the hands of the Minotaur and the tail of the beast had also been cut off by Mia's sword.

After cutting off those two part, she stop running and the people were shocked as they saw that one of the hand of the Minotaur has been cut off, same for the tail of the Minotaur.

It is a difficult task to be able to penetrate the skin of the Minotaur. At first they didn't know what Mia used to kill the beast but after everything started clearing out, they could see the sword in Mia's hand.

"The sword seems to be an ordinary sword but how was she able to slay the Minotaur that easily?" A man asked.

While Mia was running around the Minotaur, she learnt that she could infuse the Mana inside her weapon and so she infuse the Mana into her sword and to test it out, she used it on the Minotaur. The sword had cut off the arm and tail of the Minotaur clean, without any difficulty at all.

The Minotaur groaned in pain, as it was weak from the fight with mia, fighting with only an arm is an Herculean task for the Minotaur, so it couldn't continue fighting anymore.

One of it's arm has been cut off, it's tail has also been cut off, same for it's two horns. The only thing left is it's remaining one arm and it's two beast feet, which couldn't do much in war.

Mia then proceeded to finish off the beast by stabbing it in the chest. The system had extracted the crystal for her so there was no need for her to carve out the beast crystal.

The game ended and the game coordinator had came to ask if Mia want to continue but Mia replied negatively. She was taken out of the arena and was given a bottle of milk, which she drank all at once. The fight had took a toll out of her and she knew she need a lot of rest. Fighting as a female is far different from when a male fights. But she's quite glad that she could do what a male does when it comes to fighting.

After resting a bit, she remembered that a girl had placed a bet on her winning, and she's anxious to know who it is so she quickly rushed to see the girl.

When she got to where the bet took place, she saw that the whole place was crowded with a lot of people carrying cameras made out of beast crystals and microphones made of crystals. They were all inquiring on why the girl chose to bet on Mia winning the fight with the beast.

Mia was shocked when she saw that the girl was Roselle. How could it be?

She rushed towards her as she plan to drag her away from everyone's sight. Unexpectedly, the people who had saw her fight in the arena started shouting for everyone to see her.

Those who had been asking Roselle questions suddenly left her as they went to ask Mia how she was able to defeat the Minotaur.

But before Mia could say anything, she look around to see if Roselle was okay and luckily, Roselle was okay as she exited the area.
