Rebirth Of The Heroine

Chapter Nine: The Palace.

Inside her mother's room, Mia was seated on a chair and her mother sat opposite her. The room was perfectly decorated with different colours of curtains and a sweet smell of Rose was perceived in the air. She is normally called Bella by her husband, the seventh Chief and her friends.

"I want to beg you for one thing,.." Bella said. "I don't know the king's intention for letting you follow Ellen. But, please, protect your sister.

She is not the only girl that will be presented to the Prince as a bride, so, make sure you protect her well." Her mother said.

' I sure will do that. Ellen will be the tool of my revenge against Liana and her father. ' Ro Thought.

"Let me tell you a secret." Bella whispered into Mia's ear. "Ellen's star is not long. She may die at any time but I want her to enjoy her life while it last. I need you to make the king fall in love with her with every method you know. Please!"

Mia felt sorry for her mother and Ellen, and she promised within herself to make Ellen happy. 'Is that why she was crying when the royal physician came? She really deserves to be happy.' Mia thought.

"Promise me that she'll be selected by the king as the second wife." Bella started crying, "I don't want her to die without a smile on her face."

Mia felt more sorry for her mother than Ellen. She hugged her and said silently into her ears, "I will do every of my possible best to make her happy." she said.

Early in the morning, the next day, there were some guards and maids were at the front of the first chief's house and there were also royal horses and carriages that will be escorting them.

Ellen and Mia came out of the house and the guards directed them inside the carriages.

Mia was going to the palace, her real home and birth place. She was trying her best to hide the smirk that was on her face.

Ellen on the other hand was happy and everyone could see that she was happy.

Their father, mother and cute big brother waved them goodbye as the carriage started moving. And the carriage headed for the palace.

As they arrived at the palace, several people were outside to welcome them. They were the palace maids and in front of the maids was the head maid, Shura.

They were taken into their rooms and they informed the two girls that the ceremony will begin by evening. They entered the room and were met with the pretty decorations and art drawings of the room. Ellen was amazed at the sight but to Mia, it was nothing. She's the one that brought the idea of beautifying the palace with coloured clothes and art drawings.

There was only one thing in her mind, that was to go into her room that was in the inner palace. And it is far from where they are now. To get there, she needs to pass the first Queen's chamber which is always heavily guarded by guards.

She need to come up with a plan if she wants to get there. She felt bored and lay in bed to rest her mind but Ellen was making a lot of noise which is making her head ache in pain.

When they entered, Ellen saw some stuffs that caught her interest. She saw some powders and makeups that were placed on a dresser. So she sat on the small stool and started applying the makeup to her face, and as she was doing so, she was laughing. Making fun of herself.

"Will you please stop it." Mia shouted and Ellen upon hearing what she said stared at Mia with a frown on her face.

"Who do you think you are?!" Ellen shouted.

Mia sighed before answering. "Ellen, we are in the palace and the king won't like it,... if he hear you shouting." they were hearing some girls shouting on top of their lungs and Mia had to get up from the bed to check who it was.

She opened the door of their room to locate where the noise was coming from and right in front of their door, were two females that were fighting with each other.

The two looked identical to each other and it can be stated that they are both twins.

One was struggling to enter the room while the other was preventing her from entering. Mia had no choice but to go into their midst to stop them.

"Why are you girls doing like this. Don't you know the king can pass here anytime. What will you do if he happens to meet you like this." Mia said. But immediately, she heard someone clapping.

*Clap Clap Clap*

It was a girl whose room was beside Ellen's room. She had a blonde hair and her eyebrows were very thick and bushy.

"Bravo, Bravo ! Now we got someone who settles quarrels. What do we call you, fight fighter? Ah ah." pho said, laughing wickedly.

The twins, May and Jay who were fighting stopped their fight and they faced Mia. Ellen was afraid of what will happen and she didn't know what to do next.

Pho was already moving towards them but instead of going straight to Mia, she went towards Ellen as she drew her by the hair, giving her kicks and punches on the stomach.

Not just that but the twins also ran towards Ellen and they also start punching her. Ellen was unable to free herself from the grip of Pho and with the combination of the two twins, she could do nothing but to cry out for help.

Mia was getting furious as she saw Ellen being beaten up by the three girls. She stared at pho and suddenly a flash of image appeared before her face.

"Pho! The second chief's daughter. Liana's sister." As she said this and remembered that pho was among those she wants to have revenge on, she felt an energy rising up within her body. And immediately, like a speed of light, she punched the three girls all at once and they all fainted to the ground.

"Mia, what are you?" Ellen asked noticing the strange person in front of her.

But before Ellen could move, mia had already disappeared.
