Todays classes aren't to bad. Dad texted to let me know he'd be able to make it back in time to come to the game tonight. I'm walking towards the field when the quarterback also a friend dylan picks me up and spins me. he cute but I don't think I'd ever see him as more than a friend he's definitely a player and honestly I don't think he'd ever look at me that way. after he finally sets me down we make small talk heading towards the locker rooms, playfully he blows me a kiss and I wish him good luck.

once me and the rest of the squad do our make up, hair and have our uniforms on we run out before the players. I cheer because I love dancing and the college doesn't have that. I scan the crowd and find luna along with I'm assuming Dane then my eyes land on the handsome guy with them. he has on a dark blue shirt and pants. from what I can see his arms and neck are covered by tattoo, he has dark black hair and in built. I'm drooling. I try to compose myself. I guess that's the friend I'm supposed to meet. intimating. I send a wave to luna when I see dad going her way, I send him a wave and a kiss.

work was work and Nate refused to swap with me on this set up meeting saying maybe it'd be good for me. so we just pulled up and gotten out of danes truck when a girl comes up and hugs him. I'm assuming luna. dane introduces us.

" luna this is my friend Luca, Luca, luna" I smile and greet her as I look around for the girl I'm supposed to meet she seems to notice and says. " she's cheering tonight but you'll meet her after" cheering? why would she have any interest in me. I'm 36 not really what the young cheerleaders are after. but I follow them to the stands where we find seats and the cheerleaders run out along with the players, I think to myself she's probably more interested in one of them. when time seems to stand still for a moment, a small sexy curvy blonde stops to scan the crowd her eyes land on luna then over Dane then me. we make eye contact for a moment then she shakes her head while she looks stressed but covers it up by sending a wave to luna. then he face lights up and she eaves and blows a kiss I look to see where her attention is when I see an older guy making his way to us. he stops and sits by luna and they make small talk. she then says " pops this is Dane and Luca" dane shakes his hand and the older guys says " I'm charles Katelynn's dad and basically luna's" I lean in to shake his hand as well when he notices either my uniform pants or dog tags and says " oh military? thank you for your service, I was in the army when I was younger" I reply with a nod and a smile.

sometime after halftime we've all gotten snacks and are enjoying the game but I'm enjoying watching the little minx I have yet to even meet. that's when charles looks at me and says " she's amazing huh? she doesn't even know it" I can feel myself turn red. busted. " I haven't actually met your daughter sir. my friend here thought it'd be nice for us all to hang out" we make small talk all while I'm watching her, I learn that he works alot and she's pretty independent. he tells me about some douchebag that broke her heart and I tell him a little about me. how I'm 36, my parents live a couple times over in my home town and how I've been in the military since I was 18. not sure if he really approves of me spending time with his daughter tonight but he was polite. finally the game is over and we start making our way down the stands suddenly I'm nervous, I haven't been nervous about meeting a girl since I was in highschool.
