Ioness was walking towards the main hall, Nate following behind her, where owner's father was waiting for her.
According to owner's memory, her father is a prime minister,who holds a really good reputation. He is renowned for his power, he's a SSS mage. No one dares to offend him not even king himself.
Ioness know she can't defeat him but her servants can easily do that for her.
He was a doting father to the previous owner but he became too busy for his eldest daughter after his second marriage, he wouldn't come to visit her because of that b***h . This father's fault is that he believed that b***h and that, he's an i***t and clueless when it comes to family.
Ioness pushed open the door and was greeted by a man who was in his late thirties, yet this man was looking younger. He had black hairs brown eyes and pale skin. Spiritual power was at peak, to which his body can hold.
The man, Jared Stewart, stood up looking at his daughter. She was beautiful, her beauty could put goddesses to shame. He looked lovingly at his daughter but he couldn't help but feel guilty.
When he came home, he was greeted by maids who told them that his second wife and youngest daughter are in dungeon, he couldn't help but burst in anger. He didn't love his second wife but she deserves respect as a prime minister's wife. Maids told him that Eldest Miss had ordered them as his second wife always poisoned her and his youngest daughter always bullied her as Ioness was weak because of poison.
He was drowning himself in guilt, he couldn't protect his daughter whom he swooned to protect. He started walking towards her.
Ioness knew that maids would've told the truth, they wouldn't dare to offend her. As she sees the so called father walking towards her, she sneered in heart, he surely will come to scold her and belittle her after all he loves that b***h and her little b***h.
She gestured Nate to not to do anything, she wanted to know how low can he come.
Suddenly her father hugged her, Ioness body stiffened. That was not the reaction she was hoping for.
" I'm sorry"
It came out as a whisper but she could hear it clearly. This father was apologising, what a surprise. Ioness remained calm surely results were not what she expected but why would he apologise.
Jared broke the hug and looked at her eyes, he was surprised because what he saw unexpected. His little girl was really calm, no emotion could be seen on her face. His little girl grew before time and that was all his fault.
Ioness saw guilt in this father's eyes. He was powerful but right now he looked helpless, dejected and weak.
" I'm sorry Ioness, I know I'm much more guilty then that woman"
Ioness looked shocked, he called that b***h 'that woman' with so much disgust that she liked it very much. It was clearly seen he was angry very angry.
" Forgive me"
Ioness looked at the man's eyes, she was feeling nostalgic, sadness engulfed her as she remembered her father of past life.
Ioness could see he was really apologetic and she knew the previous owner loved her father very much.
She nodded at him.
" I forgive you father "
He suddenly looked at her, her emotionless face, he was disappointed but he wasn't discouraged, it was just a start he would surely make her trust him again, he'll surely spoil her as his princess deserve.
He pledged in his heart he will surely protect his princess with his life, this time for sure.
