“Do you even know what you’re doing?” Taegan growled as Rian paced around the open field, chanting something under his breath.
Rian stopped his pacing to stare at Taegan, who had his arms crossed tightly.
“Maybe we should just call this quits and go home if-”
“Ten minutes. You couldn’t even go ten minutes without acting like a jerk.”
Taegan shrugged his shoulders, making the muscles flex tightly in his white shirt. “I’m just saying. If making the portal is too hard for you, we can forget this whole thing and think of another way.”
“What other way? There is no other way to get to Alfheimr other than a portal, genius.”
