I smiled to myself, pressing my lips together while looking out the window. I’m trying so hard not to laugh at Taegan and the way he talks to his mom on the phone. He had to talk to every single one of his sisters, and the conversations were much the same. Now he's back to talking to his mom again and is completely unbothered in showing his affection for her in front of us.
“Mama’s boy,” Rian whispers under his breath.
Taegan scoffs, but continues to focus on driving.
