The God of Gravity part 2: Olympus

Olympus

"Try them on," said Lord Blaze.

I put them on quickly because I am excited to see if it works. Man.... this is sweet. "Okay!" I said after putting it all on.

"Pfft... Ahahaha!" laughed Darius.

"What's so funny?" I asked him.

"Nothin'," he said wiping his tear from his eyes. "It is just you look like a fashion model or something."

I exploded into speed toward him and stopped my fist before his face. He moved it away from his face but I rotated using my powers to kick him but it was only a faint and I rotated in the other direction and I stopped before I could hit his ear. Then he smirked at me before disappearing and I grabbed his arm that held his sheathed dagger when he tried to stab my head from behind. I exploded a force at my fist to elbow him but he blocked it with his hand. We stopped and he smirked at me and I smirked back at him.

"Alright listen, ya two," said Lord Blaze. "Every god has a relic of their own. Some of them have more than one. Consider those as your first relics. I made each of them from the greatest materials very existed, so they won't get destroyed that easily. The leather I used is from the Nemean Lions. The wood is from the ironwood that I-"

"Wait," I said, "Are you the one that people say about a man who cut ironwood in a single swing of an ax?"

"Maybe, but I use my hammer," he tapped his hammer. "handy 'lil thing."

"Okay," I nodded.

Then he continued, "Oh, where was I... Ah yes.... Those weapons are indestructible but only I can destroy them because I am the God of Smithin'. That means ya should be safe as long as ya use those against our enemies."

We nodded then I said, "Thank you for everything, Lord Blaze," and bowed.

"Thank you, old man!" bowed Darius then I poked him with my elbow. "What?" he asked.

He really doesn't have manners but I understand because he grew up without a family. I guess I have to teach him how to behave when we get to Olympus or he will be thrown out, literally, and gonna come crashing down to the earth like a meteorite.

"I think we should leave now, my lord," I said. "We need to get to Olympus fast because we just lost the whole day and-"

"Oh, 'bout that!" he said while walking to the door on the wall where I first entered. "Let me help ya one last time." He opened the door and it is already dusk. I felt cold as we went out. I can still see the Ferris-wheel-things working down the vast quarry. At the distance, they just used headlights to see what they are digging. Do they even have a break?

"Awesome!!" exclaimed Darius when he first saw them. "Ferris wheels! There's a carnival here?!!"

He's wrong so I said, "Uh-"

But, "That's not a carnival, boy," said Lord Blaze. "Those Ferris-wheel-things are called Bucket-wheel Excavators. They're of a human invention. A god of Smithin' I am and a craftsman but I like these machines that I helped them to build along with steam rockets, satellites, and many other things. I enjoyed my time with them building these things but I have a job to craft weapons for the gods so I stopped helpin' them for a while. But humans really are more than creatures that give gods their purpose and power." He nodded at me. "No God on Olympus would say that the humans impress them, but I am not on Olympus, am I?" He laughed and grabbed us on our heads. "I am impressed at demigods too! So, I tell the two of ya: Keep impressin' me!" He laughed very loud as he grabbed us and took us somewhere.

His laugh made us laugh too until "What?" we confusingly asked after he put us on something I think is... wait.... That can't be right?

There are two massive weights at our far left and far right. They are tied into this pulley system that I am familiar with. What's even weird is that it is pointed at the mountain and up. Then the other goblins are cheering around us. I realized this looks like a slingshot!

I said, "Lord Blaze, what's-"

"SAY HI TO MY DAUGHTER ON OLYMPUS, SELENA!!!" he waved his hand.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!" we screamed after we accelerated into a very high speed and flew up into the sky.

He tried to say something: "Make sure ye-" but we can't hear him anymore as the wind came ringing inside my ears and my face is getting stretched by the wind. It is cold. I can smell and taste the clouds. I am squinting because the strong wind makes my eyes dry. My heart is beating so fast because I was surprised but Darius is laughing.

"Damn!" he screamed. "This feels so great!!"

"We have to land safely!!!" I shouted very loudly. "There!!" I pointed after we got past the clouds and as we slowly reached our highest point. It was a glimpse under the moonlight but I can see the plateau of Olympus! It is very huge and wide! The shiny palace of Olympus is very tall and enormous! There are shining trees, shining mansions, shining rivers, shining roads, everything! They are all glittering under the moonlight!

That's when we started to descend. We are heading towards the edge of where it means we could go crashing on the cliff or landing on the trees!!!

"Use your powers, Leo!" cried Darius before throwing his dagger after twisting his body to get a nice position to throw. He disappeared and that leaves me in the air.

"Okay!" I answered and I exploded a force at my palm to position myself upwards. Then exploded beneath my feet to boost myself. "What the heck?!!" I yelled after realizing that I used too much force and I am gonna collide with a silver trunk that looks like metal! I maneuvered to get my feet to the direction I am going then exploded a force beneath my feet. And ugh!

I fell on the ground after hitting my head on the other tree before it because I used too much force that made me fly backward. I scratched my head as I sat up. Then marvel at how magical the forest is. I touched the grasses and they feel like they're untouched. I can smell flowers. There are thousands of fireflies flying around with different colors from the light spectrum. I can even see the forest floor clearly as some of them fly close-by against the ground. I can see shiny golden leaves on the ground that reflected their light. Then I looked up just to realize that I am under the canopy of a tree that has golden leaves and a silver trunk.

Oh, my..... I have heard of this tree and saw it in pictures but to see it in person? Damn... It is just too beautiful! This is the tree of Midas!! Although it is just the way it is named and it is the way it is without Midas actually created it, but it is a living tree! I hugged it and I felt its cold and shiny trunk.

"Leo?" called Darius behind me but I kept hugging the tree. "Oh, Leo there you are- what are you doing?"

"Hugging this magnificent tree," I answered.

I saw him touching the tree and nodding. "It feels like a metal," he said.

"Right?"

Then my cheek got hurt after he punched the tree. The vibrations stung my skin and I cried in pain along with the loud metallic clang of the tree. "WHAT THE HELL?!!!" I shouted at him while I sat on the ground and a lot of the golden leaves fell.

Then he folds his arms and says, "It's so sturdy."

I stood up and saw a dent on the tree with the shape of his knuckles. "We just got on Olympus and you already punch another tree!"

"It's just a frikin' tree!"

"It's a mythical tree and so did the moving tree you killed yesterday!"

"Well, I don't care about stupid trees, tree huggers, and their love of trees!"

"What did you say?!!"

"Hmm?" hummed Aurelia in confusion when she heard the clanging sound.

She's sitting on the roof of their mansion and wearing her golden kimono. She stood up and narrowed her eyes with her hand covering the light from the moon. She looked far away into the woods.

"Ugh...," she groaned after her stomach growled. "How long will dinner be ready?" Then she closed her eyes. She opened it with a faint glow of yellow as she smiled. "So, you're here now, Larry?" She let out electric arcs around her body and went to the sky.

"I almost forgot about our deal!" he growled. "For ten large spicy burgers, I will wait until we get to Olympus then we can have a rematch! Now that we are here, I AM GONNA BEAT YOU UP!!!"

"You can try!"

We screamed, "AAAARGH!!!" as we heard thunder.

Then we continued screaming until we suddenly got into a house with a lot of people in eastern clothes using chopsticks to eat around a low table. Darius's fist was on my face and my fist on his face as we stopped screaming. I am so confused as the people with their eyes at us and their jaws dropping. Then among those people, I saw Lady Mila looking at me with a fierce frown on her face.

Then, "Wohooo!!!" shouted a girl behind us and she put her arms around our shoulders. "The new members of our House have finally arrived!"

"Lady Aurelia?!!!" I exclaimed when I saw her face.

Darius struggled while saying, "Let go of me, you ugly girl!" Then the people I think are deities gasped except Lady Mila as she continued to eat.

Then Lady Aurelia says, "Well, aren't you so nice, Daren," and let go of me so that she can lock Darius under her armpit as she did to me long ago then rubbed his head against her knuckles very hard and fast.

"Argh!!!" roared Darius in pain while Lady Aurelia laughed and there's nothing I could to help him. Well, in fact, I won't help him because I am still angry at him.

She let go of him and he screams, "You're gonna pay for that!" and threw his dagger at her face but she was fast and dodged it. Then he teleported behind her with an incoming kick to her head but he suddenly fell and got electrocuted and shaking on the ground.

"Fearless as always, are ya, Daryl?" she said while shaking her head and looking at him on the ground.

I saw Lady Mila walking toward us with her black eastern clothes then she asked Darius: "How did you do that?"

He panted very hard after Lady Aurelia stopped electrocuting him. Then he says, "I don't.... know..... you're talking about, short-haired brat!"

"Ugh...," I reacted shaking my head. "There he goes again." Lady Mila smirked and punched his face that his head went deep into the wooden floor. I think he fainted! I think he will not survive Olympus for over a week considering that he already insulted two goddesses the first time he met them.

"You got no manners," she said while standing up straight and turned to look at me with a confused disgusted face. "And what's with your outfit? You're a fashion model now?"

"No!" I yelled out of impulse but covered my mouth with my hand before saying, "I'm sorry, my lady," while bowing.

"Both of you look like garbage," she said as she turned to walk away. "Someone, take them to the bath." She sat where she ate earlier. "Father is gonna be arriving this night, so get to it as soon as possible."

"Father?" exclaimed. "You mean-"

"As you wish, my lady," said a woman that came from the door. "Please, follow me," she said and the other servant pulled Darius out of the floor and carried him on his back.

"See ya later, Leandro!" said Lady Aurelia.

I just bowed before leaving the dining room while narrowing my eyes. She still doesn't call me by my exact name.

As I walked on the fine halls of this magnificent mansion, I thought about a lot of things that made me very excited even though I am very tired.

I'm on Olympus now...

I'm gonna finally meet him...

He's the strongest god in the Realm...
