"Throw of Six: Twenty-four-pound Cannon!"
"BLOOD RAGE: BULLET!!!"
Darius went through the thick armor like an armor-piercing bullet. Shattered armor and blue liquid blasted away from the hole in his body. I felt the ground shaking at the moment Darius hit him, as well as when his back hit the ground in a loud clanging noise. It echoed throughout the chamber walls until there was nothing but silence and dust in the middle of the chamber. I knelt in exhaustion as I panted but then ran there to check on Darius. I passed by the body of Talos and the blue liquid caught on fire. I had a smell of its smoke and I can say it's some kind of oil. The smoke is getting thicker as I get deeper and became thinner as I get near the end of it. Then there I saw Darius, lying on the ground. He's unconscious again with other goblins circled him.
"Darius!" I yelled as I know and check on him. "Are you alright?"
He slowly opened his eyes with a smirk with his right thumb up as he says, "That was awesome."
I smiled. "Yes, it was. Let's get you out of here." I helped him to get up and put his left arm on my shoulder. I walked him to where Lord Blaze is. "You just recovered from the venom and it is a miracle that you survived. Then you are still capable of this destruction."
"I'm gonna surpass every King of Olympus," he said. "That was just nothing and I can still fight if that lump of metal comes back standing again!"
"Well, don't wish for it." Then I turned around after feeling the ground shaking. "Speak of the devil. RUN!!!" I pulled Darius to run faster but he purposely drags us down. "Hey, what are you doing?!"
"Let me go," he struggled. "I'll shatter it to pieces!"
I let go of him and he stumbled forward. "You can't even walk straight!" I yelled and picked him up again. "Just let me handle this!"
Then he let me take him near Lord Blaze - who is still busy! The goblins gathered behind me while Talos is getting near. Then the goblins offered me a lot of Olympian Steel. "I have an idea!" I told them. "Help me tie the Steel into my limbs!" I just stood there and let them tie two pieces under each of my elbows and another two under my feet. It's uncomfortable but this is the best chance I've got to defeat Talos!
Talos stopped walking when he got near enough to hit us with his club. It came from above so I exploded a repulsive force beneath my feet, launching me up into the air towards his club. "Fist of Six:" I squeezed my left fist. "Punch to the Heavens!!!" He lost his grip on his club and it got knocked up into the air. He looked at me with a hollow face and lunged his shield towards me. With the Olympian Steel beneath my feet, I maneuvered to bring me to the left and dodge the shield. Then I flew towards his right foot and, "Leg of Six: Scythe!" with an explosion of repulsive force behind my feet to sweep kick him. His foot got knocked away and made him fall on his back. I maneuvered some more and above his club still in the air while preparing, "Fist of Six: Meteorite!" I punched the club and it came crashing down on Talos's head.
I landed softly on the ground with a slight burst under my feet before going down. I saw his head shattered as I sat in exhaustion. That was awesome, I can't believe I found the use of my power. It almost made me feel like I'm truly a god. But it sure drains too much energy. I used my maximum DT multiple times with my Prime Power. I can barely move from this ground.
I looked behind me and I saw Darius sitting on the ground, looking surprised but then frowned at me while frowning. He utters, "Nggr.....," he gritted his teeth. "Good one!" and folded his arms.
"Why did you hesitate before saying it?" I asked.
"My last strike was more awesome," he said while looking to the side and quite jealous. Then he was startled as he looked somewhere behind me so I looked there.
"WHAT THE HECK?!!!" we exclaimed when I saw Talos standing up without a head.
"What's goin' on?!!" I asked.
"Good job, boys," said Lord Blaze when I turned around and saw him walking by Darius and patting him on the head with his big hands as he held his hammer on the other. He did the same to me while his hammer transformed into a big one as I saw earlier.
"Sit 'n watch," he said and I feel something awesome's gonna happen as he walked with his big hammer on his shoulder. "Ya'r havin' a confidence to attack me now, ya numpty?" Talos stomped the ground to threaten him. "Oh, I see... ya really wanna mess around!" Talos punched Lord Blaze but he simply handled it with his free hand and he didn't move an inch.
"Woah!" exclaimed Darius and me.
Lord Blaze pushed his huge fist and Talos stumbled back a hundred meters away.
"Damn!!" I exclaimed again. "He didn't even use his weapon!"
"I don't want to destroy ya because yer a masterpiece of Haphaestus. If ya continue botherin' me again I will scrap ya to make bronze kettles!" Talos stood up and got trapped in a corner as he kept a distance from Lord Blaze. "Look what ya did to me workplace! It's all in smithereens! I don't care if ya wanna go out and run under the sun, yar job is to get me the Olympian Steel ore so I can make weapons for the gods! It is an important job that Olympus gave us! If ya don't behave now, I will scrap you on the spot!" Talos slouched in submission and knelt. "Sit there, I'll fix ya later. And don't move an inch!" he growled and Talos didn't move.
Lord Blaze came back with his hammer coming back to its normal form and hang it on his belt. "Are ya two alright?" he asked in front of us while we at on the ground. We nodded. "Good, and I guess I have to repay ya for givin' me a hand to deal with that bastard. Let the goblins carry ya back and I'll see what I have in store to give ya."
Then the goblins carried us on stretchers back to the room above. They fed us and we ate ravenously until there's nothing left for them to offer from what they could scavenge from their destroyed cafeteria. Then we just waited patiently for Lord Blaze to return and give us something awesome. I can tell, because he is the God of Smithing, maker of the weapons of the gods. Then I am just deep in my thought as Darius when we sat side by side with our backs against the wall. He is busy drawing more runes on pieces of paper.
Then I remembered something bothering me about him so I asked, "I never saw or heard that you have a family, Darius."
Then he stopped drawing for a while but continued a second later. "I don't have one," he said and I was startled. "Sir Estevan took me in when I was five."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Nevermind."
"It's fine. I don't even need one. I am better off alone and it made me strong, while that guy happily rubbed his bottom on the highest throne on Olympus."
He looked up and I don't even have a faint idea of who he is referring to so I just guessed, "The King?"
"The former King, Kazem. He's my father."
"WHAAAAT?!" I exclaimed. "Uhh- I..."
"That's why I am gonna surpass every King of Olympus. To make him regret that he abandoned us just for a petty Throne. If I become stronger than any King of Olympus, I can show him that nobody needs a silly chair just to be the strongest! Then I'll beat up his butt when I get there."
I just smiled after hearing that from him as I looked at the ground. Now, I finally understand why he wants to become stronger than any King of Olympus. But it still blows my mind that I am beside someone who is a son of a King. He became strong on his own, that's why he really is strong.
Then I spoke, "You will surpass every King of Olympus...," He looked at me. "except one. I'm going to become the strongest King yet!"
"Say that to my face!" he growled.
"I already did," I answered.
"Once I master this new power of mine, I will beat you up so badly that you'll forget what you said!" Then he drew more runes faster.
I just smiled until the door opened. Lord Blaze was holding small sacks in each hand. "Alright, boys, come and take a look at what I have in these sacks."
"Ooooh!" we exclaimed as we sprang up and went to him.
"I would say sorry if they aren't that finely furnished because they are what I call, 'Leftovers.' Although, I modified them a wee bit so only ye can use them."
He pulled out the content of the first sack and it is a very beautiful silver dagger. It has fine intricate details on its sheath and handle. It also has a belt so it can be attached to the waist. I held out my hand to receive it but he gave it to Darius. I just grinned in awkwardness. Damn... I wanted that.
He explained how it works to Darius while I am growing impatient. "That is a dagger which ye can put a small amount of your blood in its hilt. And is your blood pressure fine now?"
"Yeah!" yelled Darius while showing his biceps.
"Alright. Now, twist the hilt." He did and a needle of a syringe suddenly sprouted from the bottom end of the hilt. "Use it to get-"
"YAAAAARGHH!!!" screamed Darius as he suddenly stabbed the needle where his elbow folds. There's a transparent part of the hilt that shows the amount of blood in it. He pulled it out after it is full then the wound on his elbow fizzed like a punctured water bottle.
"Darius," I said. "I think you are bleeding too much." I pointed at it.
"It's fine," then the blood flow stopped.
"Oh right," I realized when I remembered that he knows how to control his blood flow.
He twisted the hilt again and the syringe retracted. Then some parts of it moved. "Good, now ya are the only one who can use it. No one will be able to make the needle retract in and out but you. Ya'r the only one who can pull it from its sheath but except for yer friend here because he can use any relic made out of Olympian Shteel - if my guess is right. Do you see the runes all over its hilt glowing?"
Darius held it with both of his hands and said, "Yes. The sheath also glows."
"Right, that's because I made it so that the runes can be seen from every angle of the dagger. Try to look at the edge." Darius unsheathed it and it also has those runes. "It also has runes. Try it now."
Darius looked at it first before putting it back to its sheath. He threw it away to a certain distance and he teleported with his hand holding the hilt.
"Wow!" I exclaimed.
"Awesome!" he yelled and pretended to slice the air like a kindergarten.
"Now, for ye, boy," said Lord Blaze to me as he pulled something from the other sack. There are actually a lot of the pieces. "It is something I had in mind after seeing ye fight Talos earlier. Ya used yar powers of gravity to enhance yar attacks and even fly. I put the small pieces of leftovers of Olympian Shteel around these four bands for yar legs and elbows to allow ya to control better. These gloves and boots also have Olympian Shteel on them. Try them on."
