Do Wan stopped walking towards the car he’s using and turned his head towards Jae Kyung who’s now making a face when Prince Yi Eul ignored her and went inside the car. The seminar that the Crown Prince attended already finished and it seems like Prince Yi Eul is already tired so they decided to go home instead of dropping by the Gokbyeokgung Palace.
“Hmm,” Do Wan’s stare settled on Jae Kyung and went inside the car. He waited for the Crown Prince’s car to drive away before following it.

The car is awfully silent. If it’s not EXO’s Baekhyun’s song “Love Again” in the background, then the car will be really, really awfully silent.
If only Do Wan was here, Jae Kyung wouldn’t suffer in such awkward silence around here. Well, if Prince Yi Eul is on himself right now, then they’ll just be going to bicker like cats and dogs.
Well, it’s better than this awful silence around us. Jae Kyung thought as she sighed.
Why does the atmosphere felt like someone just broke up? This is just too heavy for me.
Jae Kyung took a peek at Prince Yi Eul who’s now staring at the car’s window.
Well, f**k it, I’m going to initiate a conversation.
She took a deep breath and cleared her throat as she looked at the Crown Prince. She prepared the tablet in her hand and tapped something from it. “Umm—ahem! Jeonha, umm, I looked at your schedule for this evening. Would you like to go somewhere or do you have a schedule in mind?” she asked. Right, a good opening for a conversation.
She saw Prince Yi Eul shook his head and kept his eyes on the window. “No. I just want to go home.”
“O-Okay, jeonha,” she responded and closed the tablet.
She really finds Prince Yi Eul’s action today is odd. Earlier, he scolded her about his clothes and he seemed really fine. After Princess Chae Rin and Prince Yi Ryeo’s visit, he’s also fine and he even bickered to her until they arrived at the seminar. He also looked fine when he gave his speech as well as interacting with the school officials and students. It’s just that after he went to the restroom (well, he was escorted by Do Wan and his bodyguards), he suddenly became silent and not in his mood.
“Did something happen?” Jae Kyung couldn’t help but ask herself.
She saw the Crown Prince stiffened on his seat while looking at something outside the window. Her gaze settled on Prince Yi Eul before following his eyes. She silently looked at the car’s window and saw a huge billboard of Da Hyun endorsing a beauty product. She looked at Prince Yi Eul once again before looking back at the billboard.
The smile on her face is so bright, radiant even. She looked like an angel who descended from the sky. She’s so beautiful and with that smile, she looked so happy.
But those smiles brought him sadness and heartache.

“Good evening, Your Highness,” the Royal Servants greeted Prince Yi Eul. Prince Yi Eul just nodded at them as Jae Kyung helped him remove his overcoat.
He was still awfully silent.
“Your Highness, we already prepared your dinner and it is all your favorite dish as what Butler Min told us to prepare,” one of the servants said.
“I don’t want to eat. Just clean it up or throw those foods away,” Prince Yi Eul responded. “I’m going upstairs. I need to rest. Tell everyone not to disturb me.”
“Ye, jeonha,” the servants bowed at him.
Do Wan and Jae Kyung’s stares just followed him until he went upstairs. As soon as his room’s door closing echoed, the royal servants went back to the kitchen to do their chores. Well, of course, Jae Kyung saw and hear them murmuring about the unusual behavior from the Crown Prince.
Of course, who wouldn’t be surprised about it, right?
“Do Wan,” Jae Kyung called the bodyguard.
“Yes, Jae Kyung-ssi?”
“Is there something that happened when Prince went to the restroom? He seems not to himself right now,” said Jae Kyung.
“I haven’t seen anything weird happened to him that time,” Do Wan responded. “But I saw him holding his phone when he went out.”
“I wonder what happened…” Jae Kyung muttered. She slightly flinched when she felt her phone vibrating. She didn’t even notice that Do Wan left her to go back to his post (which is guarding the entrance of the Crown Prince’s mansion).
She saw their GC in Seoul Times being loud again (she didn’t actually leave because she just doesn’t want to be left behind on what’s happening in the publishing and as she said, her work as the Crown Prince’s assistant is just temporary).
