This time, also for the first time in his life, his uncle seemed to give him a dark and heavy aura. He saw it as if they were enemies and something else that he couldn't explain was also thickening.

It all started with Mason Lorelai's decision to refuse to put all the blame on Giuliana. f**k - he even thanked the snake woman for helping The North to eradicate the Rogue Mafia.

Unfortunately, when he rejected Mason’s statement, his uncle scolded him back and said that he should thank Giuliana for helping to solve one of the many problems the Lorelai family is facing. But what made him very angry was when his abilities were questioned as the one who led the Lorelai family - never once did he think his abilities would be so questioned by his uncle, who was also one of his leaders.

Mason Lorelai also said that he should thank Giuliana, instead of being so ungrateful and order someone to spread hateful comments to destroy her reputation because she is always one step ahead of him.

Until then, many of the members of The Orphic judged that she was too sadistic for a graceful and classy woman - it all ended with Giuliana cornered and leaving the meeting room after spilling her red wine on the table.

“She didn't do anything to provoke uncle. On the other hand, Giuliana was invited to meet him — they just chatted formally as a boss and his advisor” Lena, his cousin, entered his study and sat down on the bench. “I learned this from the workers who delivered their drinks.”

Deep down, he was nervous about what might happen because of Giuliana's important position in The Orphic. The snake woman is the closest person to the leaders, very close, because technically, everything the leaders do comes from their advisors.

It's terrifying to imagine that The Orphic thrives and grows stronger thanks to the intelligence that their consigliere has.

“But she is really something.”

Theodore hissed, “I know, she has no fear even if our family status is stronger than that of Darcio from The West — what should we do now?”

Lena smiled sweetly, strangely sweet “Order someone to kill her in secret”

Giuliana walked briskly, leaving her quarters without looking back — the look on her face was very disturbed by what her personal assistant had just said. In short, she was displeased.

No, everything Logan did was not for himself — it was all for the sake of The Orphic. They couldn't afford to lose someone as professional and competent as her or things would never be the same again.

The decision to place several people in her quarter was not a decision that Logan could take alone. Of course, he also chatted with the other three leaders about this — unlike if it was Leonardo who did this, it is certain that he made his own decisions.

It was a decision Sebastian was most grateful for, because if he hadn't ordered two of the four bodyguards to follow her, Giuliana might have been roasted. Thirty minutes after she left The Orphic manor, she had an accident and ended up with her car exploding.

Giuliana rolled her eyes, annoyed to hear it come out of Sebastian's mouth, because after that, there was no more freedom for her — her freedom was completely gone. It's not like she could break that rule, because everything Sebastian ordered was a direct order from their leaders.

“I knew you would say that the moment I had an accident” her red eyes stared at the flames that were still devouring her beloved Audi, “and I hate it, hate it because I can't do anything this time.”

A soft chuckle escaped from Sebastian's mouth and, ouch, it felt like he was mocking her.

“Someone who did this to me will have to pay”
