Her hands tore at his stomach, making the contents of his stomach splatter out with blood that was increasingly rushing out of his body. The screams of a man below her almost disappeared, he barely even opened his eyes and there were tears that had dried on his cheeks.
Pathetic.
But even though the condition of the man below her was already very pitiful, there was not the slightest bit of pity in Giuliana's mind. There was only the desire to slowly torture and kill everyone until she was satisfied.
She was in a very bad mood after the meeting with the councillors and heads of the four ruling families. It was all because of Caleb, who cornered her there and said that everything she had done in the North was a mistake - she shouldn't have killed them so brutally and hurt the enemy's pride. Now they intended to take revenge with her being the main target.
Theodore Lorelai wasn't helping her either - well though she didn't expect much more than that prick, but Giuliana thought he would at least side with her as a token of gratitude to her for leading the special force there and wiping out one of many North problems – killing every Rogue Mafia in there.
But that ungrateful b***h even cornered her and hoped that she would quickly be killed by the Rogue Mafia so that she wouldn't be a source of trouble for The Orphic.
Fuck Caleb, f**k Theodore, f**k Rogue Mafia and f**k everything.
Her mind was so muddled that she couldn't think of anything clearly. The urge to vent her frustration was also heightened by that. Luckily, she still has victims waiting in the dark cellar to be tortured and killed to death - because otherwise she's probably going anywhere she liked and venting it on random people she’d met.
"I know everything upsets you, beautiful. But you should have done it as beautifully as you always do. This is too sadistic and brutal - I'm sure even my nephew's sadism is nothing compared to yours."
Mason Lorelai.
Theodore Lorelai's Uncle.
Who is also a member of the council members.
“Good evening, Master Lorelai”
Mason, who saw Giuliana standing and bowing his head, now smiled faintly, he had so much respect for his superiors and that was enough to satisfy him. "Don't be so formal, the two of us aren't that far apart in age, are we?"
He looked nervous, "I-I-"
"Shh, Giuliana. Call me Mason"
With that, she realized there was something behind his friendly behavior.
.
Giuliana sat down politely, even though her appearance this time was far from polite and neat — her white blouse was still stained with the red blood of her victim that was splattering on her clothes, even her face was still stained with blood.
Luckily, neither her nor the man before her seemed bothered by it.
Mason drank his tequila in one gulp. She didn't know how many glasses he had, but strangely, he wasn't drunk at all — his tolerance for alcohol made her mouth open in awe. This man before her was a human, right?
“Did you really think that Caleb was ordered by someone else?”
That baritone voice sounded very intimidating, unlike usual she also felt her whole body chill with fear right now. But no, there's no time for that and she should be able to control herself even in a situation like this.
“Yes” she replied without hesitation, then lit the cigarette that was in her hand. “ He wouldn't be that brave if he didn't have someone to get his back. He wouldn't have that high confidence against me.”
“And who do you think it is?”
“I think you already know who I suspect.”
Between her curly fingers, there was a cigarette that was already lit but she hadn't even smoked — Mason, who was now silent, made her take the opportunity to smoke it elegantly. On the other hand, she also enjoyed his stunned face.
“There will always be consequences if you guess wrong, Giuliana” and she had better be careful. Lorelai is not someone who is weak and lets something slide when it comes to their reputation.
Giuliana understands it all very well.
But on the other hand, her instincts were never wrong.
“So you had better be careful before I teach you a lesson you won't forget.”
Smoke billowed in front of her, after sliding and just out of her mouth. That is so bold of her, but she can't let her guard down — she also can't show that now she feels weak and helpless because of the threats posed to her.
“I understand” she replied calmly, “but if everything I say is true, what will you do after that?”
He cleared his throat, his voice was deep and dark. “Seeing how Theodore is, I believe everything you said wasn't just bullshit — he still relies on emotion for the one who leads the Lorelai family.”
That's stupid. Just how can they choose someone who uses emotion over mind and logic?
“I think you've made the wrong decision,” she said quietly — this time he didn't say it because she hated Theodore Lorelai, she said it as a The Orphic Consigliere without taking it personally.
Because if Mason pays attention, his behavior like that will only bring bad effects on him and may also drag his family down in the long term — aka, it will be detrimental to many parties.
“A family head who leads a large family like Lorelai must be someone who is level—headed, who always remains calm despite the turmoil in his head, when trouble rains down on him or when someone provokes his emotions — he cannot show that he is like a book that is easy to guess and read”
There was no reply after that, each of them was busy doing their job — Mason was busy drinking his tequila while she smoked her cigarette. But they also know that even if they are silent, it creates silence, but their heads are noisy and feel full.
“But do you realize that Theodore acts like that only when he meets you?”
No, she had never once thought of such a thing — which was only natural, since they rarely met and became directly involved. So she wouldn't know that he was just acting like that to her, while Mason was his uncle.
Automatically, they will often be involved and meet, both in formal and informal events — making it easy to see how things are changing in him.
“Theodore is just like that to you, you may not realize it. But I do — it seems like something inside you managed to trigger something inside him.”
Giuliana snorted with narrowed eyes, “So you think this is my fault?”
“You're very sensitive” he chuckled softly, then pouring another glass of whiskey this time, “but no, I don't blame you, of course.”
Lorelai is really annoying and that's one of the many reasons she doesn't like them — fortunately, they are blessed with beautiful and handsome looks, also supported by material wealth that makes them almost perfect. So that at least she can tolerate all the shortcomings they have.
“It's just, stay as far away from Theodore as you can — I can't have him lose control, and don't worry, I will do something about it.”
He should have his nephew under control.
Giuliana grinned, and murmured fiercely "As you f*****g should, Sir."
.
Sebastian looked at her intensely, wondering why she kept her mouth shut with an emotionless expression after her meeting with Mason Lorelai. "Miss, are you alright?"
"No." he replied without turning to look at her and kept staring ahead at the pitch-black garden. "My mood hasn't improved, Mason Lorelai isn't helping — should I kill my victim again?"
He laughed stiffly upon hearing that, waving his hands in front of her — completely disapproving of her absurd idea, as he knew very well after that he would have to clean everything up. The splattered internal organs, the pooled blood and splattered on the walls and their corpses — it took a long time to clean it so it didn't leave marks and an unpleasant smell. There was no one else he could trust, so he had to clean everything himself with his own two hands, then force him to replace his gloves with new, clean ones countless times.
"Our chefs bake and make some sweets." he exclaimed suddenly, "Why don't you give it a try?" hoping sweets will help her improve her mood.
Usually, sweet food will be effective in helping improve her mood, and she can only hope that this time it will also work. If this doesn't work, then there is no other way to help her and another surefire way is to leave her alone to cool down — after all, he didn't want to be a victim of her sadism when she was angry.
"Alright, bring some for me."
"So, what is bothering you right now?" Sebastian asked after she served him the pastries and sweets. He read the previous situation and thought it was impossible for him to ask when he was full of emotions stored in his chest. But now was the perfect time for him to ask. "Is it about Lorelai again?"
"Yeah." she replied shortly, not wanting to explain some more to him.
The underworld was a complicated thing, but Giuliana felt the Lorelai family was the most complicated of all, for some reason. Maybe it was because they were a rich family and felt superior among the four families. It makes them feel even more highly egotistical among others, and will never want to be looked down upon by anyone, let alone by people who they think are inferior.
"What are they doing this time?"
She shook her head slowly, "What they want, to be precise."
"Lorelai wanted something from you?" he asked in disbelief, "and what is this time?"
Lorelai really can't be trusted, Giuliana has done her job well to eradicate The Rogue Mafia in The North and now they are asking for something else from her — don't they have the slightest shame?
"Mason wants me to stay away from his nephew when Theodore is in The Orphic, it is because he can't control his emotions if he gets close to me or looks at me." she explained to him with her eyes looking at him with piercing cold eyes. "Technically, we can't breathe in the same air and Mason blamed everything to me. It is not a problem, though. But what bothers me is that if his family stepped in to take care of me, do you think they would kill me?"
Such a ridiculous question.
"No," he replied sternly, "you're not that easy to kill, especially when you have me."
She giggled, as if he was just joking. "We both don't know our own fate, Sebastian." her voice, so soft and pleasing to the ear — only now he hated to hear it, hated that she sounded so desperate when, in fact, she is not easy to kill with her power. "It's alright if i get killed, but I don't wan't to die in his hands — I don't want to die in Theodore Lorelai hands."
It would be such a bad thing, she couldn't even imagine that she would eventually die at the hands of her eternal nemesis — ah, just imagining it made her want to chop him up and ruin Lorelai's name.
"I've said to you countless times, you're not easy to kill." Sebastian kept repeating the same words, but she didn't find it quite annoying. "Why did you suddenly have such a thought?"
She pressed her lips tightly, before then she gave him a shocking answer. "It was because Mason told me that Theodore probably had some murder plan for me."
