We had just finished our breakfast when my phone chimed with a notification, and I knew exactly who it was.
Adam didn’t seem bothered by it at all. Without a word, he picked up my phone and started dialling.
My heart sank when I realized he was calling Lucas. I didn’t want two good friends to end up fighting because of me, and a wave of anxiety twisted in my stomach.
I had a feeling that my friendship with Lucas was going to cause trouble between them.
