The Lost One

Chapter 4

My father was sitting at his desk and suddenly he was standing in front of the green-eyed man,  he was looking down at him hissing. " What makes you think you can just take my daughter?" the man didn't say anything but slowly stood up so he was eye-to-eye with my father. When he spoke his accent came through, " What makes you think you get to keep her? You have charges against you for making a new vampire who wasn't your mate. Since your daughter has just suddenly appeared out of no where we assumed she was the one you turned. We are here to remind you of the laws and to take your daughter to the council to be dealt with." He sighed after he was finished talking and turned to look at his brother who nodded, I narrowed my eyes at them wondering what they had up your sleeves. 

I quickly glanced at Ryker only to see that he was slowly making his way to my fathers bookshelf. I smile and when our eyes connect we nod to each other understanding what he was up to. My father has a some weapons behind the books, they were small but in a pinch could change wither you end up dead or alive. I turned my attention back to the brothers and my father, hearing the green-eyed man speak again. " Plans have changed and we will not be taking her to the council. When we saw her in the foyer we knew she was our mate and we will be taking her home." 

I felt myself tense up, and I hissed at them. My father turned to me and put up his hand, " Silence Tochter." I sat still and quiet with my hands in fists in my lap, I nod at my father and he turns back to the men. "How do I know you are telling the truth? I won't just send my child with some random strangers." I looked at my father, he was going to send me away? Wasn't the whole point of this was so we could try to convince them that we did nothing wrong so I can stay home? I look at Ryker again and he's at the bookshelf and looking at father with his head tilted to the side. It's like he likes the idea of them taking me, I know we don't get along but he wouldn't just let me leave with them. Right?

In response to my father instead of the green-eyed man answering his brother stood and reached his hand out to me , " Come here my Цветок " I hissed at him again not wanting to go near either of them. My father glared at me, " Sie werden ihnen zuhören Vanessa " ( You will listen to them Vanessa ) I clenched my jaw and got up. I walked and stood right in front of the man and glared at him and then looked down at his hand and glared at that to. I looked at my father and whispered, " Bitte Vater " (Please father) I never beg even when I went through my punishments, I never uttered a word. But I knew if it was true...if I was their mate her would make me leave home. He said nothing and narrowed his eyes at me, I knew if I stalled anymore he was going to punish me. I sighed and put my hand in his.

I felt the sparks and I jumped from them, I looked up to the man's face and got lost in his gaze. I was good as gone, if someone were to come busting into the room waving a g*n in their hand I wouldn't even notice. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I flinched, I turned to see who it was. My father was looking down at me with a frown on his face, now that I was out of the trance I was in I looked back down at my hand in my supposed mates hand and snatched it away. I stepped back putting space between us and I looked back at my father. He was still looking at me and his face was passive but his eyes said otherwise, he looked pained. I knew he was going to make me leave, I felt my stomach drop.

"Lass mich nicht mit ihnen Vater gehen. Ich werde sie bekämpfen und sie, wenn ich muss. Ich will nicht weg" ( Don't make me go with them father. I'll fight them and you if I have to. I don't want to leave.) I told him. He nodded his head at me then looked to Ryker and back to me, "Ich zähle darauf. Ich werde keine Kumpels auseinander halten, du musst mit ihnen gehen. Aber Tochter, gehen Nicht einfach. Gib ihnen die Hölle." ( I'm counting on it. I will not keep mates apart, you will have to go with them. But daughter, do not go easy. Give them hell.) I looked at him in disbelief. Then I turned to Ryker and he just shrugs his shoulders at me, I rolled my eyes. Geez thanks brother for defending me. 

My father started speaking once again, " Fine, you may take my daughter with you. But you must tell your council that when I changed her I was still under European Council's domain. Everything that was done was within my right to do so, her history and everything else is with them. I will request a transfer of that information right away."  The two men took a step towards me and I hissed at them, I felt someone standing behind me. I turned my head while keeping the two within my sights and saw it was Ryker. The two men took another step towards me and both me and Ryker hissed at them, while doing so I felt Ryker push a knife into my waistline. 

" Enough Ryker, step away from your sister." My father said very calmly , I felt Ryker step away from me. I never took my eyes off the men and decided to give them one last warning. " Stay away boys. You have one more strike before things get ugly." Of course men think they know everything and don't listen so they started to take one more step towards me before I grabbed the knife Ryker gave me and I threw it at the Blue-eyed twin. I wasn't aiming to kill just injure so it hit his thigh. I heard him grunt as he fell, I saw the other brother use his speed. I closed my eyes and used my sense to see where he would go. When I knew he was going to be on my right I snapped open my eyes and used my left arm to aim a punch at his face.

Before my punch landed he caught my hand so I kicked out my leg to sweep his legs out from under him. The issue with this is that he still had my hand in his grasp so I fell with him. Before he could realize what happened I broke his hold on my hand and pinned him so he couldn't move. " You didn't listen darling, I told you it would get ugly." Before I could do anything else I felt someone grab my waist and haul me off him. I tried to elbow whoever was behind me but they dodged it, and before I knew it he had me pinned to his chest. I felt his breath in my ear and I shivered, " Throwing that knife at me wasn't very nice my Сердце "

" I rolled my eyes and glared at the other brother that was stilling getting up from the floor. 

I looked at my father and said, "Ich werde Vater zurückkommen." ( I will come back father ) he nodded his head in response. The green-eyed twin moved to stand in front of me and stared down at me, "My name is Alexi my Цветок" now I have a name of one so the other must be Dimitri. I turn my head and looked at the blue-eyed asshole who was staring at me with a grin, " So you must be Dimitri then." He only nods his head at me in response. My father choose that moment to speak for the last time, " You will take care of my daughter or I and my entire coven will come after you and not even the Eldenmeyer's themselves will be able to protect you." he turned to me " I will see you soon my daughter" I nod to him and felt Dimitri put me up and put me over his shoulder.

This motherfucker! I will not be carried around like a child that needs punishment. " Put me down right now you Hündin." ( b***h)  in response both brothers just chuckle in amusement. The entire way to their vehicle I cursed them out in both English and German, Alexi opened back passenger door and Dimitri managed to move me from his shoulders to carrying me bridal style and got into the car with me sitting in his lap. I glared at him until Alexi got in on the other side, I didn't notice they had a driver and it irritated me even more because now I have to deal with both of them instead of just one. It makes it harder to try to escape a moving vehicle.

Alexi just chuckled at my anger, " Don't even try jumping out, me and Dimitri would run after you." I just huffed and crossed my arms like a six year old and looked out the back window. The entire ride to the airport was me giving them a silent treatment and them being amused with my behavior. I might not be able to escape now but I will get away eventually.
