POSSESSED EPISODE TWO

Things had gotten a little awkward for both Hailey and Stan after the hug. They avoided each other as they waited for their turn to see Abby who had no idea that Stan and Hailey had been lovers before.

The nurse helped dress up the baby and Abby was the happiest. She fell in love with her little girl the moment she saw her tiny self. She smiled and cried tears of joy because at that moment, nothing else matter.

"Congratulations to the newest mummy"

The nurse said handing the baby over to her an hour after they had cleaned up and stuff. The nurse let her know she could now have visitors and Abby could not wait to show off her little bundle of joy. It was a baby girl, so little yet so cute. Abby could not stop staring at her.

"Are you going to avoid me the whole time?"

Stanley asked moving closer to where Hailey was sitting. It was just the two of them in the waiting area as everyone else had left.

"I'm not avoiding you"

She avoiding his gaze and when he tried to take her hand, she pulled it away and avoided eye contact with him.

"You are married to my best friend now Stan, we were over along time ago"

"That didn't stop us from f*ucking around. Did it?.. you know how I feel about you and how I feel about her too."

He tried to reach for her hand too but the nurse walked in and they were both startled by her presence Hailey sprang up from her chair and walked up to her with Stan following suit almost immediately.

"Can we see her now?"

"Yes sure, but don't stay too long, she and the baby needs some rest."

The nurse left and Just before Hailey walked out, Stanley grabbed her arm and gently pulled her to him and wrapped her up in a hug, she didn't pull away. She felt like bursting into tears when he held her and he didn't let go. He smelled her hair and dug his fingers in her hair gently caressing her head.

"I know you are hurting right now but we will figure it out okay?"

He looked into her eyes and planted a kiss on her forehead. She did not respond but still had her arms wrapped around him for a minute.

"We should go"

Hailey said breaking from the hug and stepping back from him. She wiped the tears in her eyes and they both left for the maternity ward.

Hailey opened the door and she acted all excited and happy for Abby who looked up from her baby for a few seconds to usher them in with a broad smile on her face.

"Look who we have here"

She said getting closer taking a peek at the little one who was suckling on her mother's breast."

Stanley was happy to see the baby but something was bothering him and it was quite evident only that no one wanted to spoil that moment by asking. He asked if he could hold the baby and Abby gently handed him over.

Abby took Hailey's hand and held it in hers. They stared into each other's eyes and all Abby could see was pain..she knew what Hailey was going through and she knew that what Josh had done was not easy for her to accept. They loved each other and they sure deserved a chance. Her best friend deserved a chance to be happy.

"Hey, its going to be okay. Josh will come back to his senses..he always comes back."

Hailey wanted to believe that but this time round, those seemed like just ordinary words. If Josh went ahead and printed wedding invitation then he was really done.

"Do we know who the woman is because we should pull up on her and kidnap her before the wedding day"

Stanley looked at them both.

"No. I still have no idea who she is and I don't think it even matters anymore..he chose her."

She pulled her hand from Abby's hold and got up then stood next to her. She looked nervous and couldn't wait to step out. Her face was pale even though she tried so hard to keep a smile intact. That could have been her baby with Stan but she was the lucky one, Stan was a nice guy and Abby deserved more. Hailey had really hoped that Abby would never find out about her and Stan but the way things were going, the cat would soon be out of the bag.

"I've got to go dear, I have a meeting at four and I can't afford to be late..you know how my clients get at times and besides that, the nurse also said we should let you rest."

She said looking at Stanley who decided to place the baby on the cot. She was already asleep and stan wouldn't mind leaving with Hailey. They needed to talk and clear the air.

"That's sad but I hope I will see you in the evening right?"

Hailey nodded then hugged her and walked out. Stanley walked up to Abby and kissed her on the forehead. He asked to leave too so that he could go get her clean set of clothes and also prepare some meal for her. Abby agreed because she also needed to rest just like the nurse had advised. She had prolonged labor and she had been quite tired.

"Are you okay, you don't seem happy babe"

She managed to ask hoping that it had nothing to do with them. Abby had been very stubborn during her pregnancy that some of her tantrums and mood swings made Stanley keep off her because alot of times she was very moody and angry, then she would be so sweet and gentle but at times, she would start crying for no reason. That was quiet alot for Stanley to deal with.

"I'm good babe, I'm happy that you and the baby are okay"

She was not sure that he really meant that but now that the baby had come, maybe their relationship was going to get back to normal.

Stanley left the hospital and when he checked for Hailey's car at the parking, she had already left and he had to see her again.

Two days before the baby shower....

Hailey had gone with Stanley to buy a few clothes for the baby, Abby had written a list but she thought it was a good ideas if the two went together for ease of finding everything she wanted. Abby trusted her fiance with her best friend as they had been one happy group of friends and they always had each other's backs, atleast that's what she thought. She had no idea that she had given them another opportunity to make love, something they did everytime they got alone. It was like some sort of obsession and none of them had the balls to make it stop. Not even after both of them attempting to move on from their toxic relationship.

Stanley put the items they had bought in the back seat then opened his door and got in, Hailey was already inside in the front seat. He started the car then turned on some soft music, the music they both enjoyed and it brought back memories of a love that could not just die.

"Turn off the music"

Hailey ordered and at first Stanley was hesitant but he did after she asked for the second time. It was late, a little bit past 7:00pm and it was already dark. Abby was not expecting any of them as she knew Stanley would be headed to his place and so was Hailey once they were done shopping. Abby still lived with her mother who wanted to personally take care of her during her pregnancy. She was a the daughter to a single mum and her mother loved her so much she could do anything for her. Abby was her only daughter, the representation of her first and only love. She was the reminder of the man she fell Madly in love with.

"I thought you loved the music, you enjoyed listening to that every other time we were together"

Stanley said stealing a glance at her then focusing on the road again. Ever since Hailey and Josh fell in love, he knew alot had changed with her but she couldn't have forgotten how the music made both of them feel.

"When we were together Stan, underline that word, we nolonger are okay, plus those songs don't make sense anymore, you moved on with your life and I did with mine too."

There was a bit of a silence until Stan drove into the parking of some club, not that he had planned to but he needed to know what was really going on with Hailey because she had not been herself lately and that was the only time they could really talk freely.

"What are you doing?"

She turned to him after he had parked in the middle of two cars.

"I want us to talk."

He unbuckled his seat belt and did the same to her. His face came to close that when she looked up at his their noses touched. He stared into her eyes for a minute then got back to his seat.. Hailey's heart was racing and the goosebumps spread all over her body when she thought he would kiss her.

"What do you want to talk about Stan?"

"You,... me, ...us.. I want to know what is bothering you and before you tell me nothing, I want you to remember that I know you too well and i know that you are not okay."

He reached for her hand and gently rubbed his thumb on the back of her hand.

"I think you have better things to do Stan, you have a pregnant girlfriend that should be your priority right now, i can take care of myself."

"And you think I don't know that?"

She made a long sigh then attempted to look out the window with tears lingering in her eyes but Stan turned her face to him.

"Talk to me"

He whispered leaning a little closer.

"You know Josh broke up with me right, I'm tired of everyone leaving me. I have been waiting for his call every other day, he won't pick my calls and I can not help but blame myself. I pushed him away"

She had tears rolling down her face. She tried to hold it in but when Stan asked, she could not help but be vulnerable with him. He understood her more than any other person did. Abby came close but not like Stan.

Hey... Look at me..

He said raising her face to his. She was now gazing in his eyes as he wiped the tears away.

"Josh is a jerk and he doesn't deserve you if he has no balls to call you and talk to you and end things like a gentleman. I swear I'd break his leg if i ever see your tears drop for him again."

"Why does everyone keep leaving me, am I too difficult to love?"

"No you are not. You are beautiful and you've got whatever it takes to make a man want to stay."

He wiped her tears again and offered her a tissue. she blew her nose and fanned her face to keep her from crying again.

"you know I'm here for you right?"

she nodded like a little girl taking encouragement from her daddy.

"I love you, and I know I lost all the right to tell you that but if someone walks out of your life, it's not your fault okay, it is them and their insecurities."

she stared at him not having anything to say. he moved in even closer and pulled her in for a hug. she moved into his arms and he embraced her. he loved the smell of the shampoo she used on her hair and the smell made him want to hold her even longer. He pressed her against his chest and she got comfortable enough that she let his hand slide on her back as he caressed and because she had needed that hug, she didn't pull away but let him do whatever he felt like..at this point she didn't care about his pregnant fiance because Stan was hers first.

"I hate to see you crying."

he said pulling away from the hug and their eyes met in a rather lustful gaze. He parted his lips and tilted his head waiting for Hailey to kiss him and she did. He held her neck from the back and kissed the breath out of her as she unbuttoned his shirt and caressed his chest too.

in that moment, nothing else mattered.

Stanley slanted his seat and Hailey crossed over to his side and sat on him. The kissing had grown quite intense with heavy breathing from both of them. Hailey kissed his neck as she unbuckled his belt and pulled down his zipper while he lifted her dress and pulled her panty to the side and entered her with an one thrust. The parking lot was quiet with the music from the club blasting and it was a perfect coverup for whatever noises they were making when the lust and the need to F*uck the hell out of her became unbearable.

Hailey moaned with pleasure as she felt him inside her while she rocked him back and forth while he grabbed her butt and grinded her on his d*ck as he suckled on her breast. Hailey enjoyed everything Stan was doing to her, she had missed him even though they had met up and had s*x different other times but with both Josh and Abby in the picture, it was becoming difficult to sneak around.

"I missed this"

she whispered in his ear as she nibbled on it. He grabbed her so tight as he c*m and she covered his mouth to regulate the noise he made when relieving himself..

she then got back to her seat and when they were done with their f*********n, Stan drove off holding on to Hailey's hand and kissing it like she had just reclaimed her place in his life. For a moment she had forgotten about the breakup with Josh or that she had just had s*x with her best friend's boyfriend.
