Beast Mode

During their investigation after the m******e of the city, the military and the police had discovered the underground lab in Charton, and on the day Leonard was arrested, they had seized all the medical equipment he had. However, they never searched the manor in Glee, which Leonard thought was odd, but he dismissed the thought and felt that he had a little bit of luck through all the tragic events. Everything that Leonard owned in the manor was untouched, like nothing ever happened. Including the underground lab. He was thankful for that. Evidently, Leonard left the community a lot. The beast would fly back and forth between the werewolf community and the manor. He decided to create a new species, and he started experimenting with a new serum formula. He used his blood and the blood of a rage wolf. Seemingly, Leonard decided to create a new army to carry out his original plan to take over the city. However, this time, though, he would start with the small town of Glee. He thought that the small town would be a nice test run before they took on the city. He felt that he was careless twenty years ago when he first started his project. The half human, half beast didn't think things thoroughly through and that is why he got caught. There would be no room for errors this time. His new bioweapon wolf army was going to be a force to be reckoned with. Project A and T were not going to stop him this time. However, Leonard wasn't as smart as he thought he was because he didn't know that Anna and Tom had children. He believed that the serum made it impossible for humans to reproduce. This time, he prepared his trainees for war against Anna and Tom and the human military. Another thing that Leonard didn't know was that the military had been creating an army of their own, made up of enhanced super humans. Selectively, Leonard chose a few pack members to go to Charton. He needed more soldiers for his army. One of the chosen members asked Leonard why they didn't just go into Glee. The small little town was closer and faster. Leonard explained to them that Glee was off limits. The town was too small to look over a missing person's report. He learned that lesson the hard way 18 years ago. He told the pack that it would be safer just to go to the city where there were lots of people and to pick up the people that didn't have any friends or family. The men agreed and headed off to the city. Leonard also remembered that he had to use a different type of serum on his son to persuade him to join him. He thought about Alexander, and he missed his son for a moment. Alexander was finally with his father instead of against him, and that b***h took his son away from him. Leonard decided to make a separate serum that was like the one he used on Alexander. He would use it on his whole army, and he wasn't going to make the same mistake twice. No one was going to stand against him this time. ***************** Leonard flew into the underground lab and landed. "Mr. Maverick!" greeted one of his scientists. The lab was in full swing, just as he had left it. Since the lab was never discovered, all of Leonard's research was still accessible. So Leonard still had his formulas from before. This made things easier for him, and he was happy that he didn't have to start from scratch. "I can't stay long. I just wanted to check in and see how our latest test subjects were doing,” said Leonard. Leonard had taken two residents from the werewolf pack and decided to experiment on them. He wanted to make soldiers that had special abilities, and he didn't want a bunch of dumb creatures that acted like a pack of rabid dogs. Evidently, the soldiers needed to be smart and have at least half a brain. He didn't need any mistakes being made or to be blindsided by creatures that would attack their own kind. The scientist nodded. He walked over to an oversized glass-sealed containment cell. Leonard listened to the scientist explain about the first test subject. "As you can see, test subject A, which we call her Ducky. She has gone through an amazing transformation,” explained the scientist. A girl with bright red hair sat in the middle of the cell. She looked up at Leonard and stared into his eyes. Leonard looked at the table and saw a box of cookies sitting on it. He picked up the box and slid it through the opening of the door. The girl got up, grabbed the box and she sat back down in the same spot, and started eating the cookies. Leonard blinked a few times in confusion, and then he looked at the scientist. "What does she do?" Leonard asked. "Fascinating!" said the scientist. "Excuse me? What is so fascinating?" snarled Leonard, and the scientist backed up cautiously. "Wait until you see this,” said the scientist happily, and then he brought Leonard a tablet. The scientist showed Leonard what he had just done on the camera footage. Leonard watched in amazement. Amazingly, he had no recollection of giving Ducky the box of cookies. "Mind control,” said the scientist and smiled. Leonard looked back at the girl in surprise. "Amazing!" said Leonard. "Come on, let's check out test subject B!" said the scientist, excitedly. The scientist pointed to the glass containment cell across from Ducky's. "Now this guy, whoa. We call him Cooper. We were going for a poisonous gas breath, but we can't control what the serum does. He doesn't breathe out the poisonous gas, it comes from his backside,” explained the scientist, and Leonard looked at him oddly. A poison gas farting werewolf? Leonard thought to himself for a moment, and then he shrugged his shoulders. Whatever gets the job done, right? he wondered as he sighed heavily. Leonard looked at the scientist and then looked into the cell. He saw a man with reddish-brown colored hair, he was in his werewolf form, growling and snarling at a guard that was in his cell. Intrigued, Leonard watched as Cooper spun around in a circle and a greenish mist came from his backside. The guard coughed hard as the gas swarmed around him. A second later, the guard fell to the ground, convulsing. Cooper looked up at Leonard and snarled. Leonard laughed. "They are hired!" he said, cheerfully. "Keep up the good work, doc, and get those doses of the new serum ready. The trainees are about to graduate,” said Leonard, and he flew out into the night sky. His plan was perfect and now there was no one that could stop him, or so he thought.
