1. Pilot
It had been a quiet eighteen years since Leonard Maverick had unleashed his monsters on the unsuspecting citizens of Charton. Anna Simon, Justin Hardy, Tom Woods, and Allison Saunders had fought with their lives to save the city and destroy the monstrous beasts.
They had rebuilt the damage from the destruction with the help of the surrounding towns, including Glee, and life seemed to be finally getting back to normal again. There had been a couple of attacks by the hybrid rages, but even the attacks had stopped, and everyone believed that the creatures had finally died off.
The military had sent out scout teams and scanned the city's sewer system and the underground tunnels where the beasts were known to hide and all that they would find were empty nests. What they didn't know was the fact that the hybrid rages hadn't died off.
The remaining few creatures that had survived escaped into the forest between the city and Glee. The rages felt that they would be a lot safer out in the middle of nowhere and wouldn't be hunted down like wild animals. However, everyone was a lot happier now that the threat was gone.

The military had locked Leonard Maverick away in a separate, specially made cell to contain him on the air force base located on the outskirts of the city. The general wanted Leonard under twenty-four-hour surveillance, so he could keep a close eye on him.
Evidently, the serum Leonard had injected himself with had mutated his body aggressively. He had grown larger in size and longer in length, and more muscular and a lot stronger. Long, wide wings had sprouted from his shoulder blades, and they were the same dragon-like wings as the Ambopteryx.
The man turned creature had grown a short snout and fur all over his body. His fingernails and toenails had grown into sharp claws, and he was part rage and part Ambopteryx Longbrachium. He didn't even resemble the man that he once was, even since he had been arrested.
Unfortunately, Leonard's containment didn't last very long. Six months into his sentence, he thought as though he had served enough time, and it was time for him to go. He had felt he had been in that cell long enough.
***************
One afternoon, he had waited until it was time for the nurse to come in and take his weekly blood sample. The guard opened the door and stepped inside with the nurse, his gun drawn on Leonard. Angrily, the mutated man charged at them, and before they could react, Leonard was out of his cell. He stretched his wings and looked up at the window.
Eight guards came rushing into the containment area with their rifles drawn. Angrily, Leonard growled at them and then he used his feet to push off of the ground. He flew towards the window, as he spun around encasing himself in his wings to protect himself from the guard's gun shots as he crashed through the window, and spread his wings and flew out into the sky.
As Leonard stretched his wings, he inhaled a large breath of fresh air. Happily, he blew out his breath as he glanced back at the army base. After a moment, he flapped his wings and flew off into the late afternoon sky.
In fear of causing mass chaos for the public, the military at first kept things quiet. The general knew if the public not only found out that Leonard Maverick had escaped, but the fact that he had mutated into a monster, there would be widespread panic across the region.
However, the general did inform his most trusted secret operations team, Anna, Justin, Allison, and Tom. After they had heard the news, they had all searched for Leonard Maverick for months, with no trace of finding him or where he may have flown off to.
Evidently, they didn't search far into the forest. There was no evidence leading to Maverick even being deep in the forest, so they decided even though there was no trace of the mutated man, they would all keep their guard up.

Leonard flew high in the sky over the forest. He could sense that his creatures had been down in the trees as he flew over. Curiously, he swooped down into the forest and landed in the middle of the rages nests. Leonard could smell the scent of death all around him and looked around sadly.
At that moment, Leonard saw the dead rages lying in the thickets of their nests. He wondered what had happened to them. Sadly, he remembered when he had first created the rages, the scientist he had first hired had done some experiments on the first rages. Leonard remembered the scientist explaining to him about the brain wave activity.
It was like a network of memories being passed down with each bite. All their memories stayed with them and could be passed on with a single bite. Leonard walked over to one of the rage nests and lifted up one of the dead creatures. He studied it for a moment, and then he bit into the decaying flesh of the creature's shoulder and began drinking its last bit of blood.
Memories flooded his mind of the underground laboratory in Glee. He and his son looking through the glass of the containment pod that held the Rages. Attacking the people of the city flooded his mind, and then he saw Anna, Tom and Justin. They blew up his creatures.
He angrily pulled the rage closer and sank his fangs deeper into its rotting flesh as his head twitched with every memory that flooded his mind. The blood rushed faster into his mouth and the memories started to come into his mind quicker. He saw his creatures leaving the sewers of the city and fleeing into the woods. He watched as the rages began feeding on the wolves of the forest and then crawling back to their nests.
Seemingly, that was the end of the memories. Leonard pulled his mouth from the dead creature and he tossed it to the ground. He looked around and saw a weird-looking rage in the bushes. Curiously, he walked over to the weird-looking creature.
He couldn't believe his eyes. This particular creature was part wolf and part rage, and it had been shot. Leonard bent down and grabbed the carcass as he snarled and sank his fangs into the hide. Memories flooded his mind of running through the forest and being attacked by a rage. Then a fresh memory came to his mind of a man…
**********************
One day, a man named Braun had ventured out deep into the forest while he was hunting. He had stumbled upon a dead rage, and he had never seen one up close before. Braun had just seen what they looked like on the TV.
Curiously, the man bent down to get a closer look, and then he heard a snarling and growling noise. The beast turned his head slowly and saw a strange-looking wolf growling at him. Half of its face was missing and his eye on the good side was clouded.
Frightened, Braun stood up slowly, and he cautiously started to back away. The weird-looking mutt growled and lunged at Braun. Suddenly, the wolf landed on him, knocking him to the ground. Braun screamed out in pain as the mutt sank its fangs into his shoulder. Frantically, Braun struggled with the creature and pulled out his handgun.
Immediately, he grabbed the creature by the scruff of its neck and pulled its head back. Braun felt its teeth rip his flesh, and he grunted as he held the barrel of the gun to its throat. Grimacing, he turned his head and pulled the trigger, and the creature cried out its last cry as the gun went off.
Petrified, Braun looked at the creature, and he saw that the strange-looking wolf was dead. Relieved, he sighed as he tossed the mutt into the bushes beside him and stood up. Nervously, he quickly ran to his truck as he kept his head on a swivel for any signs of the strange creature or any more strange creatures. Braun got into his truck and drove quickly home.
When he arrived home, Braun's pregnant wife Lynn begged for him to go to the hospital and that the wolf could have been rabid. Nonchalantly, he compromised with her and said if it wasn't any better in the morning, he promised he would go to the hospital.
That evening, he poured peroxide on his wound, and suddenly a dizzy spell came over him. He told his wife he wasn't feeling well, and he went straight to bed. Braun tossed and turned all night. His body was on fire and sweat poured out of him profusely.
Suddenly, he screamed out in pain and jumped out of bed, causing Lynn to wake up in terror. Immediately, she jumped out of bed and backed against the wall as she stared at her husband in horror. Braun looked at her with a crazed look in his eyes and growled at her.
Horrified, she screamed as he lunged at her from his side of the bed. Violently, he grabbed her by the shoulders, and he bit into her soft skin. At that moment, he ripped his newly grown fangs from her neck, and he tore her tender flesh. Lynn cried out in pain and Braun released her.
Shaking uncontrollably, the pregnant woman fell to the floor, crying, holding onto their unborn child. Braun felt his ribs flare up in pain as he doubled over. Suddenly, he felt a burst inside his chest and the sound of bones breaking filled the air. Hair grew all over his body and his face grew into a wolf-like muzzle.
At that moment, he looked up at the moon shining into their bedroom window and let a howl rip from his throat. Lynn laid on the floor convulsing, holding onto their unborn child. She had started the transformation process and started to become what her husband Braun was now. A werewolf.

Leonard felt another presence and then he heard the click of a handgun. Surprised, Leonard dropped the carcass on the ground and turned around. The man from the rage mutts memories stood behind him with a handgun pointed at him.
When some level of trust was made between the man and the beast, Leonard explained to Braun that he was not the enemy. As carefully as Leonard could, he explained to Braun what he had become and also told him that they were all connected through their bloodlines.
Leonard was amazed at the fact that his creatures had evolved into their own species. Braun took Leonard to a small community where the newly turned werewolves were staying back in the forest. There were many others, including Braun's wife, Lynn, and their baby girl, Mandy.
Along with Braun's older brother Andrew and his wife Cara. They had given birth to two baby boys, Joseph and Damien. There were families staying in cottages they had built under a large cave.
Leonard explained to them all about how the Hardy and Wood team had killed their original mother and that he was a direct descendant of her. He would be their leader and protect the entire pack. The werewolves seemed to be unaware of who the creature was, and they accepted Leonard as their Alpha.
Evidently, Leonard had created a safe haven for the pack. Andrew and Cara had their home on the outskirts of Glee, where they had lived since they had gotten married. In their backyard, there was a trail that led back to the newly built werewolf empire.
Surprisingly, Leonard had developed a special power that he could manipulate the forest and everything that grew. He used this power to create a barrier of thick wooden vines with thorns around the community, and the only way in or out was through the trail.
Seemingly, Leonard had found two of the surviving wolf rages and used them to create an army of werewolves. He was going to take his time and be ready to carry out his original plan to take over the city. However, he told the werewolves that having an army was for their protection from the humans. The werewolf empire grew and life seemed to be okay for them as long as they did as Leonard told them to do.

Evidently, Anna, Justin, Tom and Allison were informed about Leonard's escape and a few years later, the werewolf community was discovered. The general took it upon himself to begin creating his own army of enhanced soldiers, like Anna and Tom were.
Seemingly, the soldiers were on a volunteer basis. It was their choice if they wanted to be experimented on with the serum or not. Anna told the general that they didn't need an army. She felt that if the werewolves continued to live peacefully, there was no need for war preparations.
The general told her it was best and just to be on the safe side. He felt Anna was giving Leonard Maverick too much credit. Tom didn't trust that monster one bit and neither did she. Tom felt bad, but he decided to keep the army information to himself unless it was necessary to share with Allison and Justin. Anna and Tom decided to keep their guard up, just in case.
**************************
Twelve years had passed since Anna and Justin had gotten married. Tom and Allison had gotten hitched a few years after them. There hadn't been any activity from the werewolves, and everything continued to be peaceful.
Evidently, the threat had moved further into the back of their minds as they focused on their lives they had built together. They stayed close and became a family.
Anna and Justin decided to rent out their penthouse in Charton and move out to the Simon farm in Glee to start a family, and they were now closer to Tom and Allison. They were all pretty happy.
As time had passed, Anna and Allison had seemed to have gotten pregnant around the same time. Anna and Justin gave birth to a beautiful, blue-eyed, red-haired little girl, and they named her Jasmine.
“Wow, she is so beautiful!” exclaimed Justin, as he looked into his daughter's face, and then he looked back up at Anna.
Seemingly, Anna had just given birth, and the nurses had cleaned Jasmine off, swaddled her in a blanket and handed the baby to her father. Anna was sweaty, and looked exhausted as she looked up at Justin, happily. He could tell she was weak from all the pushing she did.
“Bring her here!” cried Anna, softly, as she breathed heavily.
Justin smiled as he nodded, and he slowly walked over to Anna. Carefully, he handed the swaddled blue-eyed, red-haired baby to her, and tears streamed down her face. Jasmine looked up at her mother with wide eyes and cooed at her. Happily, Justin and Anna stared at their baby girl, and they felt so blessed.

A few days later, Tom and Allison gave birth to a handsome, bouncing little baby boy. They named him Kevin. He had dark hair with blonde highlights and green eyes.
“He’s perfect!” said Tom, as he held Kevin up in his blanket, and Allison smiled weakly at him, and nodded with tears in her eyes.
Unfortunately, Allison had a much more difficult birthing experience and she had to have a c-section. Concerned, Tom looked at her as he sat next to her head as he held Kevin in his arms.
“Are you going to make it through this? I can’t do this on my own,” he said, softly, as he looked into her eyes and she smiled at him as she reached over and touched his face.
“No, worries. I will be back to my old self in no time,” she breathed, and Tom smiled at her as they smiled at their beautiful baby boy.
Seemingly, they were all relieved that the doctor had given their babies a normal healthy bill of health. Anna, Justin, Tom, and Allison silently cheered, because that meant that the serum chromosome hadn't passed on to their children. Life seemed to be perfect.
