Chapter 41 Scarlet My feet dragged me to the cafeteria. It is rare for me not to take a lecture on the subject I am so interested in and dedicated to, but lately, my interests are going in some other direction. This is not right and I know that. Xavier is doing his part effortlessly and perfectly. I, on the other hand, am sucking at this. The viewpoint of him sitting with Tiffany in the cafeteria flashed in front of my vision. I hide behind the pillar— I certainly don’t want him to think or believe that I am spying on him, which I am, but I can’t let him know. Why the hell am I here? Keeping an eye on him and Tiffany.
