Scarlet.
The almighty knows how difficult it was for me to tell him the secret I have been hiding for years. It almost felt illegal to say it aloud but I did.
Xavier's eyes are fixed on me. I am well aware that what I have just told him is not easy to process. It feels like time has frozen for us.
My eyes widen as I feel his arms wrapping around my waist, pulling me into a hug. His arms wrap tightly around me, picking me up from the floor.
“It’s okay,” he whispers, and I wrap my arms around his neck. His scent calms my nerves.
I smile and pull him closer to me.
He understands.
But my happiness was short-lived when I heard him say.
“I know that entity is messing up with your brain. We’ll find a solution, don’t worry,” he tells me and pulls me closer.
