Chapter 6:

 When I woke up it was bright as hell in the room and Jared wasn't in the bed with me. I groaned and stretched before getting up to use the bathroom before heading to my closet and picking out an outfit. I noticed that Jared had gotten me lots of dresses but I preferred jeans. I selected a new black pair of jeans and a lace green tank top along with a matching lace pantie and bra set. I dressed slowly, my body aching all over and I knew it was from all the emotions that had coursed through me yesterday. I remembered my way to the kitchen and when I walked in, the room got silent. There were over one hundred people in the dining room and kitchen which were connected. I froze looking at all the faces before me. Suddenly Jared appeared and cleared his throat. "Emerald these are some of the pack I figured you could acquaint yourself with some of the younger pack members. Everyone, this is my mate Emerald."

"Hello Luna." Coursed through the room which made me blush.

"Let her eat before you all swarm." Jared said loudly to which the crowd laughed. "Come get some breakfast." He says, leading me to the table where there were dozens of platters with all kinds of breakfast food on them. He grinned as I helped myself to pancakes, sausage, bacon, and hashbrowns. I ate slowly watching the people wandering around us. 

"Where is Sapphire?" I asked.

"She went to training with Leo, they should be back soon though. Don't worry she seems better today." He says knowing I was worried about her. It must have been written all over my face. 

I sighed and nodded my head eating my food. After I was done eating I walked around the room meeting members of the pack and getting to know each person. It was hard to keep track of their names but I managed for the most part. Jared stayed by my side the whole time which I was grateful for. After about an hour or so I noticed Sapphire also walking through the crowd chatting with people and laughing easily as if she had done this her whole life. Where I felt awkward and uneasy she was confident and at ease.

Many hours later I sat at the kitchen counter snacking on a bomb sandwich with some chips and a soda. Jared, Sapphire, and Leo also sat at the counter eating their own sandwiches.

Suddenly a loud scream happened as the front door slammed open. 

"YO, YO, ROMEO HAVE YOU FOUND JULIET YET?"

Jared shook his head. "Esmeralda why don't you come in here and find out for yourself." He was smirking at me wrapping his arms around my shoulders as a small female version of Jared walked in the kitchen.

She shrieked and ran to me pulling me from Jared and wrapping her long arms around me hugging me tightly. "I got a sister! I finally got a sister!"

"Ouch Esmeralda that hurts!" Says another female as she enters the kitchen and hugs Jared before turning to me with a smile. "Welcome to the family." She says hugging me after Esmeralda let's go.

"Well Emerald you've met Esmeralda, this is Stephanie. My brothers should be along soon. I am sure my Parents are making them straighten their clothes or something." Jared says with a shake of his head.

"We would do no such thing son." Says a tall lanky very beautiful woman who walked in with her arm looped through a tall muscular guy and I could tell right away they were Jared's parents as he looked exactly like the both of them smashed together. 

"Mom, Dad, this is my mate Emerald. Emerald, this is my Mom, and Dad." 

His Mom hugs me and his Dad just smiles and shakes my hand.

"Oh son she is so beautiful!" His Mother gushes looking me over. 

Sapphire broke into a fit of giggles and I glared at her to which the attention shifted and they all were looking between the two of us.

"This is my Twin Sapphire." I say as an introduction and blush when Jared smirks and winks at me.

"Identical twins? That's rare for our kind." Jared's Mother says turning to Jared but before she could say anything another loud voice filled the room.

"Damn Jared you got all these hot chicks up in here and didn't think to call me? You wound me brother!"

Jared and Leo both growled at the newcomers words.

"f**k off Mark she is mine!" Jared growls pulling me into his arms and away from his brother.

Mark shruggs and turns to Sapphire to which Leonard pulls her into his arms. "Mine!" He snaps.

Mark chuckles. "Damn both of y'all are whipped!"

"Mark do not talk like that!" Their mom chastised him.

"YO! What is that f*****g delicious smell?" Comes another voice and suddenly another man stands in the kitchen and his eyes land on me making my insides shiver at the scorching look he gives me.

"Back off Nick! She's mine!" Jared snapped pulling me tight against him as if he needed to protect me from his brother.

"We can share." He says pompously and winks at me.

"To hell we can! I might be your twin but I sure as hell ain't sharing my mate!" Jared snapped his eyes going pitch black.

"Yo chill I'm just having some fun loosen up you big ol prick!"

I could see the relation between the two but they weren't identical like me and Sapphire.

"You have a twin two?" I ask looking up at Jared feeling my chest tighten seeing the worry in his face.

"Yes we aren't identical like you and Sapphire but we are still twins. Twins born to werewolf parents are usually never identical as it would be confusing as when you're identical your scent is almost identical to your twin. The only reason Leo and I knew the difference was because I claimed you first. Your scent seems to be slightly stronger than Sapphires and you have a hint of vanilla while Sapphire has a hint of orange" Jared sighs kissing my forehead.

"Awh Mom look at them! Aren't they so cute?" Stephanie asks as her and Esmeralda oh and ahh at Jared holding me in his arms.

The day continued. I spent most of the day with Jared's family. Sapphire was able to escape and meet with Leonard's family. Jared told me not to worry that I would also meet them later. By the end of the day I fell into bed exhausted and was asleep in minutes.

The next few days flew by as I got acquainted with everyone in the pack along with Jared and Leonards families. Before I knew it the day had arrived for the welcoming ceremony.

Sapphire and I stood in a spare room with the women from Jareds Family and the women from Leonards family as they all helped us get dressed and they also helped us with our hair and make up. Sapphire seemed content to let them cake her face in make up where I protested and ended up with just eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lipstick. After we were in our dresses the women left to get themselves ready as Sapphire and I stood in the bathroom looking in the full body mirror that was attached to one wall.

"Did you ever think we would be here?" She asks tenderly. "I mean we are going to meet our parents and be welcomed into the pack as their Luna and Beta female. Are you nervous? Will you let Jared Mate and Mark you tonight? You should! You've made him wait for so long."

I laughed softly with no humor. "Saph I haven't decided this is all still too surreal. I mean I am mated with a Man who expects a lot from me it's all a lot to take in." I shrug, taking a deep breath. "Come on we should head down."

Sapphire loops her arm through mine and together we walk out of the room and downstairs. As we reach the back doors I notice a white path made for us. Sapphire looks at me with a raised eyebrow and I just shrug, taking a deep breath and leading her outside. We follow the path to where we meet our men. Leo Takes Sapphire and Jared takes my arm and together the four of us walk through the huge crowd to a raised platform.

Jared cleared his throat and silence descended on the crowd.

"Tonight we Welcome the Gemstone sisters into our pack but we also will be giving them their official titles as Luna and Beta. To help us with this ceremony we have two very special guests. Queen Luna Destiny and King Alpha Jasper."

Jared holds his hand out and a very beautiful woman and man walk up onto the stage with bright smiles. 

The man kisses My cheek and then Sapphire's before turning to the crowd. "Thank you for allowing us to join this celebration. Our long lost daughters home at last." His green eyes sparkled as he looked from me to Sapphire. "We have searched many years for our daughters but they have finally returned home where they belong. This is a very special occasion." He bows and turns to Jared nodding his head.

Suddenly a table was brought onto the stage with a bowl sitting on it. 

The man Jasper, I knew was our father based on his eyes and his eyes alone. 

He moved me to one side of the table and Jared to the other side across from me with Jasper standing between us. He produced a knife and smiled at the crowd.

  "This knife has been used in many Luna, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma ceremonies, along with many Merging Ceremonies." He smiles yet again.

"Alpha Jared your hand please." He says to which Jared hands him his hand palm up and Jasper slices a cut across his palm. "Now Luna Emerald your hand please."

I hesitated only for a split second before giving him my hand palm up which he once again sliced my palm this time.

"Do you Emerald Gemstone future Luna of the Terri Falls Pack, vow to lead your pack the best possible way? Do you vow to protect your pack to the best of your abilities? Do you vow to be just and fair to everyone within the pack as well as trespassers? Do you vow to lead with strength and courage? Do you vow as Luna to love all your pack members as a mother would love her own children?"

"I do." I said firmly.

"Then by the power of the Moon Goddess granted unto me, you are the new Luna of the Terri Falls Pack."

With that Jasper had Jared and I shake hands making our blood combine between us. The sudden rush of voices in my head gave me an instant headache but I could also feel all the happy emotions pouring out from the pack.

Jared gave me a small quick kiss on the lips after sliding a ring on my left ring finger, before we stepped back and it was Sapphire's turn. As she pledged to lead the group as the Beta female I felt my mind wander. So much had happened so fast. It was mind altering and confusing but I was convinced that things would get better. They had to, right?

Leonard sliding a ring on Sapphire's ring finger snapped me out of my thoughts.

Jasper motioned and together Jared and I stepped forward again to stand next to Sapphire and Leonard.

"With the power blessed upon me let's give a warm welcome to your new Luna and Beta female."

Cheers erupted loudly through the night air and through the pack. Sapphire looked at me and grinned. I gave her a small smile that was fake due to who was standing just behind us.
