4. Be A Mother

Caitlyn looked sharply at Evans. "Don't be impertinent, Sir. I will sue you if you behave disrespectfully!" Caitlyn warned. Evans flashed a smile. "Why would I do anything indecent to you? I can get a better woman than you with my money." Evans did not care about Caitlyn's concerns. "I have to make sure there are no weapons on you. Or you will never get out of this house." Evans' threat made Caitlyn feel scared. Just a few hours ago, she wanted to commit suicide. She was forced to let Evans touch her body. Evans showed a cold expression when he started touching Caitlyn's body. She touched Caitlyn's shoulder, then slowly and cautiously, Evans' hand went down to Caitlyn's stomach. Caitlyn's hands tried to cover her breasts. She did not want Evans to touch her sensitive parts. Evans' hand was suddenly already inside Caitlyn's pants. Suddenly Caitlyn grinned. Her lips rippled with a strange sensation. A conglomerate's hand had touched Caitlyn's forbidden part. Evans touched every inch of Caitlyn's body for a long time until she was forced to throw away her shame. "Okay, done," Evans said. "Put your clothes back on." Caitlyn hurriedly put her clothes back on. She was very embarrassed and also nervous. Now, what would Evans think? Was he still suspicious of Caitlyn? Caitlyn had resigned herself to Evans, considering her a kidnapper. Caitlyn had given up on her life. "I'll wash my hands first," Evans said. "Don't go anywhere. We'll talk." Evans quickly walked away. Meanwhile, Caitlyn breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, Evans left. Nervousness enveloped her entire body. A foreign and wealthy man had touched her body for security reasons. Could that be considered harassment? No one would believe Caitlyn's words. The world would only believe people like Evans. Caitlyn looked around. She was amazed at the contents of this house. Compared to the apartment her parents left behind, this was nothing. This house was like a palace. "How can someone be so rich? While others are so poor and miserable?" Caitlyn muttered. She felt the world was unfair. Especially since her parents died. The world is no longer the same as it used to be. A few moments later, Evans came back while wiping her hands. Caitlyn was saddened by Evans' overly clean demeanor. He was like an OCD sufferer. "Well, I've seen that you're not carrying any weapons. Please forgive my impolite behavior, Miss .... " Evans slightly forgot Caitlyn's name. "Caitlyn Steel," Caitlyn replied. "Ah, Miss Steel. My daughter has no mother. Her mother died when she was two years old. She is very similar to you in stature. Perhaps she mistook you for her mother," Evans replied. Caitlyn had just found out that Daphne's mother was dead. She instantly felt sorry. "I am so sorry. I didn't know..." "No, no, no. Don't feel guilty. That was a long time ago. You must already know that I am Evans Silvester. I am the CEO of Silvester Company. I have something to offer you," Evans said. "An offer?" Caitlyn muttered. She needed help understanding what Evans meant. "What kind of offer?" "To be a surrogate mother for my daughter," Evans replied. Caitlyn was very surprised by Evans' offer. She never thought there would be such a ridiculous offer. "I-I don't get it." Evans approached Caitlyn and sat in front of her. Evans' eyes were like a hawk that watched Caitlyn closely. His athletic body and elegant clothes made Caitlyn swallow hard when she looked at Evans. "Daphne looks happy when she's with you. She's been very moody all this time. You don't need to be a real mother. Just until Daphne realizes that her mother is dead .... " "Wait. Wait. " Caitlyn stopped Evans' speech. "Daphne doesn't know that her mother is dead? She's already six years old." "I know. You don't need to harass me for that. You just need to pretend to be her mother until I can tell you the truth about her real mother," Evans said. Caitlyn felt that Evans' actions were outrageous. "You're so cruel. You shouldn't do something like that to your child. You will only hurt her." "You don't have to lecture me. I'll give you a contract agreement. You just need to sign it." Evans looked very serious with his words. Unfortunately, Caitlyn needed to understand what was going on right now. A very ridiculous offer. To become a surrogate mother. Caitlyn is still young. She doesn't even know how to take care of a child. "I've never taken care of children, Sir. Are you sure I won't make a mistake?" Caitlyn tried to speak realistically. "A thousand dollars a month," Evans said suddenly. "W-what?" When she heard the word thousand dollars, her body shook. "I will also return your apartment. Your debt at the bank will also be paid off. You can even ask me to take revenge on your best friend and boyfriend," Evans said. Caitlyn was even more incredulous at Evans' fantastic offer. Her job was only as a nanny. But she received extraordinary facilities. "Why are you doing this? Are you willing to do all this just to find a surrogate mother?" Caitlyn wanted a reasonable explanation. "I just want what's best for Daphne. She smiles when she's with you. I haven't seen her that happy in a long time. I just want her to be happy," Evans replied. Again, Caitlyn found something in Evans. Although he looked cold and arrogant, he became a good father. He would do anything for his daughter's happiness. "I'll think about it," Caitlyn replied. "I want your answer now, Ms. Steel. Daphne wants you so much. I want you to be near her after she wakes up." Evans was getting pushy, and Caitlyn had no choice. This was a chance to turn things around. Caitlyn would get back the apartment and her good name. Caitlyn looked at Evans thoughtfully. An opportunity like this would only come once. She had to make a decision that she would never regret. "Alright, I accept your offer," Caitlyn said. Evans smiled widely when he heard Caitlyn's answer. "Okay, we'll talk about the contents of the contract," Evans said with a big smile.
