I wasn’t really present at dinner, my mind was mulling over everything that happened so far today along with the depressing realization Timmy and I were about to be thrown into the media spotlight thanks to our father’s decisions in life. He would expect us to stand with him as a ‘family unit’ and pretend to be happy as he wrecked Senator Ross’s and Axel’s lives and futures. It was a depressing thought, and one I wasn’t sure I wanted to participate in.
It also occurred to me if father could ruin my career, he could also ruin Axel’s. Especially if he won a court case against Senator Ross.
