Brandy The next morning I woke up to what sounded like rocks hitting a window. Nate was already in motion before I was really consciously aware of the noise. He didn’t even pull on anything, just ran around naked, pulling something out of his bag, before moving over to the window where the noise was coming from. “Brandy!” He whispered urgently. “You need to wake up baby.” It suddenly dawned on me we weren’t safely in the house. We were open and exposed in this little tree house. I jerked upright, my wide frightened eyes looking to him for direction. I didn’t know what we were going to do to get out of this if we were in a spot, but I trusted him. “Get dressed,” he ordered on a breath as he tried to look out the window to spot who was there without exposing himself to a possible shoot
