Bray viewed any pursuit as pointless. “Take this,” he proffered his money. “Pay me back.” She took the gift graciously as he continued. “But teach me more.” Mrs Razurk wiped a tear from her eye. “I need to get back. I’ll be in trouble.” She shook hands with Bray and left quickly. He watched her leave then went back to his sketch as Sabienn’s vision went dark on this scene. When the vision came to light again, Mrs Razurk and Bray sat again on the end of the same bed. It must have been days later as their clothes had changed.
