4. CurtainsIn short time Sabienn and his friend made the trek back down to the beach area and the clearing where the child had been laid. He was feeling unusually exhausted by the day’s events and welcomed the seclusion of the depot for a brief rest. Sabienn looked up and down the beach. Everyone that had been on the beach was now gone, filtered into the vegetation to find passage up the hill and inland. Even the dead bodies had been picked up and removed, save for some that were unable to be recovered. They were still bobbing up and down in the water being torn apart by the fish.
