" You know I never told it to anyone . I don't know why I told it to you . "

" It is good when you have a friend with whom you can share everything . I have Rachel and I can be that friend for you . You don't have to pretend in front of me . "

" Just be sure because people hate the real me . "

" I don't want to love you so may be I can hate . Here we are ? "

Rachel comes out of her class because she thought that she heard Emily's voice . But when she comes out she gets surprised to see Emily with Matt . Earlier Matt was asking about Emily and now they both were together , what was this supposed to mean ? Matt goes inside . Emily knew what Rachel was thinking , she tells her that she will tell her in class .

Mr. Alex was giving a boring lecture . The moment he starts speaking the time literally pauses . Five minutes feel like an hour .

Emily and Rachel were sitting on the last seat of the second row . Matt sat on the seat before them in the adjacent row . Rachel was noticing Emily and Matt . She noticed that Matt was signing something to Emily , he even mouthed something to her which made Emily laugh . Rachel pinched Emily .

" Ouch ! What are you doing ? "

" What is going on between you two ? "

Emily opens her book and pretends to read " Shh ! Rach , Mr. Alex is telling an important topic . Don't disturb me / And you also concentrate , it will be better for you . "

Rachel snatches her book " Oh come on I know how much you listen to Mr. Alex . Do you even know which chapter he is teaching right now ? "

Emily's voice stammers: " Ye-yes , chap-chapter 15 . "

" Oh come on Emily he finished that chapter like a week ago . Now enough of excuses . I know you are hiding something from me and I want to know what so tell me what is going on between you and Matt . "

Emily got nervous . She picks up her bottle " I will tell you only if you will promise that you won't freak out . "

" Honestly Emily evaluating the present situation it is hard to say that I won't freak out . "

" Ok , just remember that you are my friend . "

" So what ? "

" So please don't shout at me because you know you are the only person in the world that scare the hell out of me . "

" I will try . "

" So Matt and I are friends . " Matt turns back because he thought that some body called him . Emily and Rachel acted casual . He thought that he might have heard something wrong .

" What ? " Rachel says in a loud voice . Mr. Alex asks her to shut up or he will ask ask her out of the class . She then whispers to Emily " What ? Are you in your mind . Are you still drunk ? " Rachel was still in disbelief .

" Don't you remember what he did to you ? He was so mean to you . He made you a joke in front of everyone . People are still calling you by names . After all that how could you get back with him . Have you forgotten everything . "

Emily assures her that it was not like what she was thinking . He was just a friend for her . He broke her heart ones , she won't let him hurt her again .

It was lunch , Emily and Rachel were still discussing Matt . And by discussing we mean that Rachel was basically lecturing Emily that how she was making a mistake by letting Matt back in his life even if it meant having him as a friend . Rachel was sure that Matt was not worthy enough to be her friend .

" Do you need coffee , Rach ? "

" After the headache you gave me , is that even a question ? Don't get a decaf today . Go get coffee I will find seats for us . "

" Fine , try to cool down and we will not discuss Matt . "

Hi Emily , Hi Rachel ! " They heard Matt's voice . They turned back , Matt was waving to them . " Holy God of hell ! " Rachel whispered to herself . They put on a fake smile as they saw Matt coming to them . Rachel gives a creepy glare to Emily " I know Rach I am dead . "

" Hi girls , so what are we having . "

Rachel was not sure who he was referring by ' WE ' , " You mean me and Emily . "

" I think I can join you girls . "

Emily could see that Rachel was getting very frustrated " Hi Matt , I was going to get some coffee and Rach was looking for seats . Oh we wasted your time . I guess you should go to your friends . "

" I was thinking that maybe we three should spend some time together . "

" What ? " Emily and Rachel said together . Their eyes went from Matt to each other .

" Yes , I want to apologize to you both . "

Rachel stammers " Well you don't have to . We don't have any grudge against you . " She chuckles .

" No I know I did wrong to Emily so I have already apologized to her and I know that Jack did wrong to you and he is my friend so I want to say sorry from his part . He has never been in a real relationship so he don't know how to treat girls . " Matt said to Rachel .

Rachel told him that it was fine and now she was over him . Tyler sat down and asked Rachel and Emily to join him . Both were reluctant but they didn't knew what to say . After all he was being all apologetic . They didn't wanted to look rude .

Rachel went and sat . Emily said that she will bring coffee and then she will join them . Matt was being very kind so Rachel thought that maybe she could change her opinion of him and he could be Emily's friend .

Emily brought coffee . Matt took the tray from Emily , he even pulled chair for Emily . Sometimes these little gestures are enough to win a girl's heart .

The queen bee , Jessica came with her friends " Hi , mind if we join you all . No seats are free today . "

Before any of the three could answer she said " Well thank you , come on girls sit down . " They were talking to each other mostly they were just bitching about their boy friends . Emily was observing Matt if he was still affected by Jessica's presence but something was different . Though they both were sitting next to each other , he not even for ones looked at Jessica .

Emily thought to her that he was right , he is trying to get over Jessica . Emily kept her phone in her bag , she noticed that her wallet was missing " Oh no ! " She said .

She looked around to search for it . Rachel asked her " What are you looking for ? "

" Maybe her bra . " Jessica commented and everyone around started laughing . In a college a gossip spreads faster than a forest fire . Everyone in the college knew what happened at Matt's party even those who were not there also knew . Of course every one was connected on the social media . Emily was embarrassed . She stood up to leave but Matt held her hand . Jessica could not help staring at Matt's hand that was holding Emily's .
