She rubbed her eyes to make sure that she was still not in a sleep but she wished she was in one .

" What took you so long to answer the door . Were you sleeping ? Do you know what time is it ? And look on your face were you up all night practicing some weird make up hacks . " Said Stella while making her way in .

" Oh you are back . It is good to see you too . "

" Ya what ever . " She gave her car keys to Emily to get her stuff from it . Emily opened the car . There were two suitcases and one big bag . What made Stella think that Emily could carry them all . She rested the bag on one of the suitcases and managed to carry them . She knew that Stella was going to freak out on seeing the condition of the house .

" Stella I have brought everything . "

" What happened to the house ? " Here comes the question " Why is it such a mess and what is this weird thing that is fallen on the floor . And on my way back I crossed paths with our neighbor Mr. Harrington , he complained about you . He said that you were disturbing the entire neighborhood . What is wrong with you ? " Ok , she was expecting first half of the question but she didn't knew that Mr. Harrington will b***h about her .

" Actually Rachel and I were having a little girls night . But where is dad ? "

" He will stay there for a while . "

" When will he be back ? "

" Girl stop asking questions . Can't you see that I am tired . Make me some coffee and eggs and clean up this mess . I will be in my room and after that wash the clothes that are in the suitcase they are very dirty . " Emily nodded her head yes .

" Hey Emily . Are any of Stella's beer still left or we drank it all because if she will find out then she will burst like a balloon " Rachel walked out of Emily's bedroom . " And the balloon reminds me of something I found . " She said in a squeaky voice . She was hiding something behind her . Emily was signing her to be quiet because Stella was also standing there . But Rach didn't noticed . She pulled out the water balloon that she was hiding behind her and shoots it to Emily but she misses it and she accidently throws it on Stella ! She was so dead .

" What the hell ? " Stella screamed as loud as she could wiping her clothes . Her sound would have waked the neighbors if they were still on bed , what the hell was Rachel . Rachel eyes were full open now . Emily signed her that she is dead .

" St-Stella ! " Rachel voice stammers " Wh-what a pleasant surprise . Go-good morning . Emily I was here all night may be it's time I should leave . " She looks at her watch " Oh my God , did you see that it is 8:30 . We are supposed to be at college by 9 . I guess we both missed the alarm . How silly of us , right Stella . I will see you late . It was a pleasure to meet you . "

Rachel just runs from the house . She didn't wanted to deal with Stella . She knew that she was pushing Emily down the cliff but as it is said , first you should wear the oxygen mask and then you should help others and she knew that if she stayed there , she will also be dead .

Stella looks at Emily with anger filled eyes " Why was this girl in my house . And you got drunk . You are misusing the independence your father gave you . Aren't you just a miscreant . And just remember that I don't like this girl so it is better that she stops showing at our door . Otherwise it won't be good for you . Just clean up everything before you go to college . "

" But Stella I am already late . I have to be there in like half an hour and it will take at least 20 minutes to reach there . So I will have to leave now . "

" I don't think so young lady . Consider it as your punishment . Neighbors complains and beers , I don't know what I will hear next . Maybe there were guys with you both . I hope that they are not still here . "

" No it is nothing like that . "

" You realize my time is precious and I have already wasted a lot on you . So excuse me ! "

Emily did all the work that Stella asked her to . She checked the clock " Holy God of hell , two minutes to nine . I am already late . " Emily ran to her car . She put on the seatbelt and drove as fast as she could down the narrow lane . She honks to avoid any other vehicle blocking her way . Rachel calls her ;

" Well Missy , you shouldn't have called after you left me alone in the lioness den . "

" I know . . . . . I know . . . . . . but I freaked out on seeing her . Didn't she tell you that she will be home after a week . "

" Hey you mister watch out it's road not your garden . " She yells at a man that almost came front of his car " Well as I always tell you that you can never trust her . I thought that you have learned it by now . "

" Who were you yelling at ? "

" Some old fellow who for sure could not hear the horn . You know what I am so done with Stella , I have decided that I will save my money while working at the ' The Beanery ' and then get an apartment . Because if I will keep living with her then I am not sure if I will make it to the music college . Anyways where are you ? "

" I am at college , you know something weird happened . Matt was asking for you . I don't know why . I told him that you will be late . I wanted to tell him to go to hell . "

" But you didn't say , right ? "

" No , but I must tell you that it was very hard to control . And listen the first lecture got cancelled so you don't have to rush to college . "

" What ? Thank God . Otherwise Alex would have killed me . I get this feeling that he don't like me . "

Emily parked her car . She thought that she was the only one who was so late but then another car stopped by . She wondered who it could be . She waited for that person to step out . Oh , it was none other than Matt . What a weird co-incidence ! they both got late on the same day . Matt waved t her , she waved back . He came to her .

" Hi Emily . " He called out to her . " I always thought that you were punctual but after today I don't know if I will be able to say the same . "

Emily nodded her " It is nothing like that . I guess I told you that Rachel and I were having a girls night and he got drunk so we missed the alarm . I want to ask you why you are late but I will prefer if you will tell it to me walking in . We are already running back . "

Matt and Emily walked in . He told her that he stopped to help some old person and that's why he got late but Emily knew that he was not telling the truth so she asked him again . He told her that her that he also missed his alarm . And this was a weird co-incidence .

Emily opened the locker to take out her books . It was very plain . There were no sticker or any pictures . Matt asked her " Why haven't you decorated your locker . To be honest it barely looks like a girl's locker . "

" Pictures remind you of your happy time and it hurts when you realize that you can't live that anymore . "

" Why are you saying this . I am sure that even now there might be moments that you cherish . "

" Not really , you know . My world kind a paused after my mother left me . And the last time I was happy every thing got ruined " Emily sighs .

Matt was curious " When was the last time you were happy . "

Emily closed her locker and piled up her book " Let's not talk about it . "

" Why ? I want to know . "

Emily hesitates to say " You know when we were in the closet and you kissed me . That was something I always dreamt of . And it was like I was living my dream . " They both walk towards their class .

Matt didn't knew what to say now " You know what you told me about my mother I want to say that I understand but I really don't . I have an abusive mother and we both barely share any bond . She never wanted to have me and she never failed to make me realize that . She blamed me for everything that happened wrong in her life . I was nothing but a burden to her . "
