ALONE ! ' Alone ' , I feel that it is the creepiest word and the darkest feeling . You sense it being drawn towards you but before you could understand it engulfs you . . . . . . . . It is a trap and ones you fall prey to it there is no coming back . Your future will appear to be darker than the night ! Alone ! everyone feels alone at times some feel after breakup maybe . After a breakup, there is a great feeling of loneliness that overcomes us. For so long, we felt that we were a part of something bigger than ourselves. Suddenly we are left with the realization that we no longer have another to lean on. The loneliness is overwhelming. We have become used to having someone with us all the time. We probably made all our decisions together. To suddenly be alone after intense togetherness is a very lonely feeling. Some feel alone after losing a person who meant the world to them . Some people feel alone in the crowd . Emily lost her mother , Erica at a tender age ever since she felt alone . Her father married Alexa who was everything but a mother . Alexa envied Emily because she was prettier and more talented than her daughter Monica . She used to taunt Sara and treat her with hatred . Emily used to be a bubbly girl but the pain of losing the only person in the world who actually cared about her broke her from inside . She used to spend her times with the books . Though she had a lot of problems but still she was fine with everything . She used to try to find moments to cherish even at the darkest times . But she was unaware that her life was about to change only to get worse . . . . . . . . Emily carried a page in wallet every where she go . It was not just a page but it was her misery . It contained a poem she wrote for her mother after she left her . . . . . . . . " I miss the times when you were here, Telling me to have no fear. Ten months back ; Emily was standing in front of her wardrobe figuring out what to wear . His crush , Matt invited her to his house party ! Of course he invited everyone his class . But generally Emily and Rachel were invisible to everyone in the class . They were not invited to the house parties , to gatherings , no one ever asked them to be their date to prom . Rachel tried to convince Emily that Matt invited her because he had a thing for Emily . Though Emily told Rachel that she was over reacting but deep down she wondered what is Matt actually had feelings for her . Matt joined their school in the fourth grade . He was the exchange student . Ever since she had a huge crush on him . She used to stare him during classes and she was even his secret Santa . On the rose day she left a rose on his desk but Jessica took credit for that and she got a kiss from his soft lips . Emily wanted to feel them for long . Jessica knew that Emily left a rose for him . She mocked her and said that a girl like her could get a guy like him only in her dreams . Emily and Matt never really spoke . Well that's not exactly true . Once he stopped her to ask time . Once he said hi to her . . . . . . . .And the other time he walked all the way to her house to say sorry . . . . . . .of course before that he stole her science project but it was fine after all he walked all the way to her house just to say sorry . Matt Lodge never said sorry to anyone . For him the word sorry didn't even existed .
