Emily was confused why was Matt being rude to her ?

Emily's mom was a singer , she gave many stage performance but she was never able to become a professional one . She pushed Emily in to that direction , she wanted to be on stage with Emily when Emily was to receive her first award . Sadly her mother was not there anymore but she wanted to live the dream for her . There was a big singing competition in their college , the winner will get a chance to work with a famous music composer . Emily was waiting for it .

Rachel sounded dull " Yes but there is a slight problem . "

" What ? "

" The first round is the solo round but the second is a duet ! The competition is right after prom how will you find your partner so soon . "

" You scared me ! It is not a problem trust me . I just heard Matt and he is an amazing singer . He even write lyrics . I will get us both listed for the duet round . And I am sure we will win . So yay ! All good for us . "

" That's good so you talk to Matt and fill the forms before it gets too late . "

" I will surprise him . I am sure he will be very happy so come lets go . "

Emily was confused why was Matt upset ? Yes they could not get physical but this could not be it . Emily's mother told her that ; ' One day you are gonna come across a man that will worship the ground you walk on . Do not stop until you find the man . He will love and cherish every inch of you . And he will do everything in his power not to lose you . '
